Guest Access:
Guests have private access to the entire lake house, including the bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living and dining areas, deck, yard, private dock, and designated parking areas.
You are also welcome to enjoy the charcoal grill, outdoor seating, kayak, and stand-up paddleboard during your stay. The private dock may be used for relaxing, swimming, fishing, or docking your own boat.
The home has keypad self check-in, so you can arrive and settle in on your own schedule. Your personal entry code and arrival instructions will be sent before check-in.
Any locked or clearly marked owner/storage areas are not available for guest use.
The Neighborhood:
Dake lake is a 35 acre, 26' deep lake that is perfect for fishing, swimming and boating. It's part of Waupacas famous Chain of Lakes, and neighbors Minor Lake and Columbia Lake. Got a boat? Bring it with! You can launch it right next door at the boat launch and park it at the private dock. Need a boat? Ding's Dock boat rental is just 3 minutes away.
Getting Around:
A vehicle is recommended for getting around the Waupaca Chain O’ Lakes area and exploring downtown Waupaca. The home is conveniently located about 10 minutes from downtown Waupaca, with local favorites such as Wheelhouse Pizza, Scoopers Ice Cream, Tom Thumb Mini Golf, and the Clearwater Harbor area only a short drive away.
If you bring a boat, the nearby public boat launch makes it easy to get on the water, and you may dock your boat at the private dock during your stay. For guests without a boat, Ding’s Dock is nearby and offers pontoon, kayak, canoe, and other watercraft rentals for exploring the Chain O’ Lakes.
For the best experience, we recommend arriving with your own vehicle and planning local transportation in advance.

Dake Lake House is located on peaceful Dake Lake, a small lake within Waupaca’s Chain O’ Lakes. The home sits on a quiet, owner-occupied stretch of lake frontage, so we ask guests to be respectful of neighbors and keep outdoor noise at a considerate level, especially in the evening.
Guests are welcome to enjoy the private dock, kayak, and stand-up paddleboard. Please supervise children closely near the water, dock, and watercraft, and always wear a properly fitted life jacket when using the kayak or paddleboard.
The nearby public boat launch makes it easy to bring your own boat, and the private dock may be used for docking during your stay. Please follow all posted lake and boat-launch rules.
No parties, events, unregistered guests, smoking, or vaping are permitted inside the home.
Interaction with Guests:
This property has keyless locks, so you will not need to meet us to gain access upon arrival. We give you space to enjoy OUR space. Should any needs arise, we are just a text or phone call away.

The house is very nice and clean. The view of the lake is fantastic. TV and Internet worked well. We go to Waupaca a couple of times a year and had a little bigger group this time and this house worked out great for us. Also ran into some deer on a walk and they just aren't very concerned about people. Got some great shots.

Beautiful location. Plenty of room in the house for all of us (6 adults, 3 children). Lots of activities and nice restaurants in the area.

We booked this house for a place to stay when in town for Grandma’s funeral. The family grew up coming to the Chain. The house was a great gathering place for cousins, aunts and uncles to spend time remembering grandma both inside and outside on the property. There was plenty of space. We especially loved the dock to keep a rental boat.
