About this house rental
This 5 bedroom vacation home is located in the Sea Pines Resort, just 3/4 mile from the famous Salty Dog Café (a 5 minute bike ride). It is across from the beach access (157 ft from the back door to the access) and is on the sea pines bike path. There is also a fishing spot on Sprunt pond one block away.
This old school beach house has been completed remodeled. The house is well situated for multiple families to share a week at the beach, sleeping 17 in 5 bedrooms with 5 baths. It is also handicapped friendly with no stairs for the main living area and two bedrooms.

• Bedroom 2 - Downstairs: Queen Bed, 26 inch Flat Screen TV, attached bath
• Bedroom 3 - Upstairs: King Bed, 40 inch Smart TV, Ensuite bath and Martini Balcony
• Bedroom 4 -Upstairs: 2 Custom Built XL Twin over Queen bunks, Twin Sleeper sofa, 55 inch TV for movie watching or gaming (has XBOX1), Ensuite bath
• Bedroom 5 - Upstairs - 2 Twins (can be made into King), 32 inch Flat Screen TV, bath across the hall

The great room is spacious and perfect for your large family gatherings. There are three sofas (one is a sleeper) for plenty of comfy seating and a 58 inch smart TV with separate HDMI and USB connections for all of your devices. Fill the house with music using the built in Sonos sound system, playing music directly from your phone/ipad using your music library or streaming services. Or go old school with your entertainment, grab a board game from the cupboard and play at the game table.
The home has a gourmet kitchen that is ready to host large family gatherings. It won Best Kitchen redesign in 2018 Island Builder Awards! The kitchen has Thermador ovens and cooktop for the serious cook. There is a wine chiller and beverage center in the island to leave plenty of room in the refrigerator for food. There is also an extra refrigerator in the garage. The dining table seats 10. Additional guests can be seated at the kitchen island (8), family room game table (4) and patio table (6). The Dining, Great Room and Kitchen are all on the ground floor and handicapped friendly with no steps to navigate. The dining room, kitchen, master bedroom and den bedroom have doors out to the patio.
The home has a screened porch with full size pool (pool can be heated for an additional fee), so if it’s raining or buggy at the beach you can still enjoy the pool. The pool has a basketball goal for sporting, or just float around. There is a Weber gas grill and a Kamodo Joe (Like a Big Green Egg) on the grilling patio just outside the porch. Comfy deck furniture and a TV make it a great place to lounge while watching the kids play.
It's an easy walk to the beach. The beach access is 157 ft from the pool deck. You'll be on the beach in 3 minutes soaking up the sun. Or you can ride your bike 3 blocks down to the Tower Beach Club which has bathrooms and a picnic area. (Car parking is for Sea Pines owners only).
There are six 9x18 parking spaces. There is a 50 AMP level 2 EV charger in the garage. Tesla owners will need to bring their adapter. The garage also has beach chairs and beach carts for guest use.
Check out time is 10am and check in time is 4:30 pm. Your beach house will be "move in" ready with all beds made up with fresh linens. There will be bath towel service for the number of registered guests (beach towels are not included). You'll have a starter set of supplies in the kitchen and bathrooms: Dish soap, dish towels, trash bags, paper towels, hand soap, toilet paper and shampoo.

This is the third time we stayed at this house in Sea Pines. Each time we enjoyed our stay tremendously and look forward to staying there again in the future.The property owners made the rental and check-in process easy and were open to our suggestions and recommendations concerning the property. If we needed anything the owners took care of it immediately.The pool is screened in and is great for both kids and adults. The pool was relaxing after a hot days at the beach, horseback riding, fishing, sailing and parasailing.The kitchen and family room are spacious with plenty of room for the family members to cook and relax. The dining room table easily seats 10 people which is great for our family.The house is close to Salty Dog and the beach is only a 5 minute walk away. There are pickleball courts conveniently located near the house and Salty Dog.The owners recently remodeled the outside of the house and redid the driveway which makes it easy for 4 cars to park.Hopefully the house will be available to stay in the next time we vacation in Hilton Head.

Perfect house for a 3-family vacation. House was extremely well equipped and great location close to beach and South Beach area. Host was very responsive and helpful. Will definitely return!

This property has a lot going for it. The location is fantastic — just a short walk to the beach and convenient to shops, restaurants, and local attractions. The home is spacious and easily accommodates large groups, making it a good option for families or multiple couples traveling together. We also appreciated the renovated kitchen, which was modern, and the beach supplies provided were a helpful bonus.However, there were several issues that impacted our stay. The home was not thoroughly cleaned before our arrival — we found old water bottles under the couch, dust bunnies throughout the house, and cigarette butts outside by the pool and on the front porch. The towels were stained, some smelled of smoke and did not feel clean. The pool area did not drain, even on days it did not rain. Anytime it was used, standing water remained in deep puddles around the area, making it slippery or sloshed back into the pool leaving the water dirty. It required daily pushing of water out the door. The washing machine did not work at all during our stay. While the owner communicated well and acknowledged the issue, it was never fixed, which created an inconvenience for our group.In summary, while the home has great potential and the owner was responsive, the cleanliness, pool drainage and lack of basic functioning appliances were a drawback. With better upkeep and attention to detail, this could be a fantastic rental, especially given its location.
