BIG beach house! practically on the sand! Stunning views, near Redwood forest

You can't be closer to the beach with this home! Our family of 6 had a wonderful time listening to the waves crashing on the beach below from every room in the house. Coffee in the morning on the deck was stunning; 180 degree views of miles of beach was something really special. The house was well stocked and the beds were comfy. Would totally stay here again.

Great property overlooking the beach. Fell asleep and woke up to the sounds of the ocean. Lots of space for everyone to spread out. Very close to everything we needed. Host was very responsive to any questions. Would definitely recommend.

Views are just spectacular!!! So close to national parks!!! The suggestions from host were very helpful!!!! Wonderful pizza place in town!!!! House had everything needed for a memorable trip!!! One of our favorite houses!!!!

Pros: Amazing view, great location near the Redwoods, lots of tips for people new to the area, quiet neighborhood, really clean beach with a wonderful group of pelicans that we watched feed every night.Cons: I am not going to add pictures here, but I do have them. The house was not clean when we arrived, and overall just needs a good scrub. Don't use the top oven, there is grease on the bottom that smokes when you heat it up. I expected some sand, not a big deal. I did not expect to sweep up food crumbs, hair, and even some toenail clippings. I pulled a dish out of the cabinet that looked like it had been buttered and then put away. We paid a hefty damage deposit (refundable), yet the firepit was broken upon arrival. There was an empty White Claw can on the patio. I notified the property manager and he did not apologize for the cleaning that I had done, but did confirm that the firepit was broken and offered to send different cleaners the following morning. We didn't hear from them again until check out. A previous reviewer noted that the house is dated and this is accurate. My family also owns a beach rental and at some point, you need to replace the blinds and windows that have rusted from the salt, as well as the furniture that gets stained over time. The sectional upstairs was in three pieces when we got there, I think we fixed it but the arms might still need adjusting. Only two pods available for laundry, if you have a group you will want to bring your own.
