Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. However, 2 days in the dishwasher, the tubing came loose, and my husband had to put it back together at 11 p.m. Fortunately, we were visiting family, so he got tools and hooked it back up. It was obvious this had happened multiple times based on the warped board underneath, and no one has taken the time to fix it properly. We had to clean up a huge mess of grey water and hang the rugs out to dry. Not a huge damper on our vacation, just a mess to deal with. We also had two doorknobs fall off in the garage area where we were playing ping-pong. Again, Handy husband screwed them back on. If I hadn't had someone who could fix these things and a family member with tools nearby, this review would have been much different, especially if I had needed to call for emergency help from the owners.
Otherwise, the house was lovely. Plenty of towels, the house was very clean, the view was beautiful, the walk to Pebble Beach was very close, and we were so close to all the attractions we wanted to see.

We had a wonderful time with our family and all slept so well on comfortable beds, bedding and mattresses. The extras like toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo and conditioner made us feel right at home.

The biggest plus about this house is the view! You can watch beautiful sunsets every night and be lulled by crashing waves. Other pros are the table tennis in the garage, which our teens loved, and the location (the house is walkable to lots of sites and a short drive from Jedidiah Natl Park.) The interior is a bit dated, but clean and well appointed with fresh linens and towels. The beds were super comfy. Cons: several of the windows and blinds were broken and need to be fixed; not enough plates and cups for a family of 9; need more seating options in the den; some rodent issues. Owner was very helpful and responsive.
