About this house rental
The entire house is filled with light – fresh smelling and immaculately clean and uncluttered. It is tastefully furnished with attention to detail. Beautiful hard wood floors throughout, central AC and heat, ample closet space.
This is a stylish 3BR home that evokes all the comforts of home while making vacationing oh so simple. The kitchen is fully stocked with a stove, good cooking knives, microwave, coffee pot, all cookware and serving items.
There are two amazing patios – one with a barbeque and the other that is nicely shaded with anarondack chairs and a fire pit so you can enjoy all of the seasons.
The living room has a smart TV and plenty of comfortable seating and views of the lush green leaves of the gorgeous old trees that surround the house.
For those who have to get some work done while visiting Charlottesville, we have high speed internet and plenty of comfortable areas where you can set up your work space.
The house has 2 full baths, both with shower/tub combinations – one upstairs and one downstairs. We provide shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, & soap. There is also a hair dryer available for use.

The location of this property is excellent and we had very helpful communications with the owner and the local property manager. The home was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. We had a heat wave the weekend of July 4, 2026 (100 degrees F) that caused the upstairs King bedroom to be hot and the WiFi signal to drop in and out, but hopefully that was due to the heat and not a normal occurrence. FYI, the downstairs Queen bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. The upstairs King bedroom shares the bathroom with the kids' room across the hallway. Please keep this in mind if privacy is an issue for you. To turn on the shower in the upstairs bathroom, you have to pull the little ring down on the bathtub faucet. This was not immediately apparent and took us a little while to figure out how to turn on the shower. Also, there's no dresser in the King bedroom (I hate living out of my suitcase!) and very poor lighting in the kids' room. Otherwise, we really enjoyed this home and our weekend in Charlottesville!

Perfect house & location for our daughter’s graduation from medical residency at UVA. Our host answered our questions quickly. Pack-n’-play & safety gate were really helpful for our little ones. Beds, couch & chairs were comfortable. The air conditioning worked well, the kitchen was well-stocked & we used the backyard grill
