Beautiful 3 bedroom house minutes from the beach and First Landing State park

Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at this property. The house was immaculate and as pictured. There is a nice tree top view (light and airy with all the windows) from the 3rd floor that is the main living space. Our family spent a lot of time in the early morning and later evenings relaxing and being comfortable in this space. There is also the convenience of the half bath on that same floor. The bedrooms were nice, the beds comfortable and the sheets of good quality. There are 2 outside decks and we used the top one daily. The kitchen has most everything you could need. The showers are a little tight but shouldn't be an issue for most people. There is good water pressure and lots of hot water.The park entrance is maybe 200 feet from the house and the beach is a 5 minute walk. You do have to cross a 4 lane main road but it was not difficult or unsafe to do so. We loved being close enough to walk there. The trails through the park and easy and have benches along the way and some really pretty views of the water.We used the laundry and the outdoor shower and both worked great. We really enjoyed our stay here, had no issues and would consider this property for a future stay.

We had a small problem with the stove, and it was resolved quickly and satisfactorily by the host. Great communication and response.This fit our little group perfectly. We were there for wrestling and the bonus of being able to run in the state park next door and on the beach was just amazing!

Great beach access and great location.

Our stay at "Gone Fishing" was great! We couldn't have asked for a better location - just steps away from the park and minutes from the beach. The only drawback was the number of stairs. Thanks!
