Lake house with three decks private dock and swim platform.

We had a fantastic stay and this was easily the cleanest place we’ve rented—by far the best of all the places we’ve stayed at the lake. It was perfect for our family of adults with plenty of space and a great setup. The home had all the cookware, utensils, and essentials we needed, which made meals and relaxing together easy.The location was ideal if you’re looking for a quieter part of the lake. The views from every deck were absolutely incredible and quickly became one of our favorite parts of the stay.The owner was extremely responsive and quick to answer any questions we had. They also recommended a boat rental company that ended up being perfect—affordable and exactly what we were looking for.A couple things worth noting: there are quite a few steps down to the dock, but we looked at it as getting a little extra workout in while enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Also, there is only parking directly at the house for one vehicle. Additional parking is available but requires a very short walk, so just something to keep in mind if traveling with multiple cars.Overall, we would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it!

The lake house was lovely. Brian was in daily communication and responded immediately when contacted. Home is stocked well with pans, dishes, just like home. Someone had even left behind a bottle of wine for us. The weather was cool so we didn’t get to enjoy the lake for swimming, but we spent evenings on the deck watching and identifying the beautiful birds. We were visiting a friend nearby who had been seriously ill for months. The only negative on our stay was the smell from the plug ins. We had opened doors and windows when we arrived the day prior, but our friend still became very ill from the odor and we had to leave right after breakfast. She recovered as the day went on, but unfortunately we couldn’t bring her back for her birthday dinner. FYI In the Barnett and Eldon country areas there are Mennonite stores. They sell the Best Brooms ever! Only broom I’ve ever had that picks up fine dust so well. I brought home 4 this time for gifts. We would definitely stay here again! We just have to cook the meals and take the food to our friend’s house to eat.

We were very pleased with the house. It was homey and was even nicer than it looked in the photos. The view was beautiful and it was so nice to sit out on deck and visit. We would stay there again.
