A light filled comfy house. All the bedrooms were a good size and the beds comfortable. Everything felt high quality. Our favourite space was the kitchen, dining and settee area - spacious, comfy with huge windows looking over countryside - and easily accommodated ten people and two dogs. The kitchen was well stocked with every item you could need. The garden is huge! Lots of walks in gorgeous countryside and a short walk to a very lovely pub. We’ve stayed in many Cotswold houses and this has been the best for us.

An amazing house in a fantastic location, easy to get to all the gorgeous villages! we are a group of five friends and it suited our needs perfectly, bedrooms were all gorgeous and spacious and the beds were very comfy. Kitchen was huge with a large Island unit and all the equipment and utensils etc you could possibly need. Would definitely come back again, thank you for a lovely stay!

We stayed at the house for a week. It was spacious and clean and overall we loved it and had a great time. The only few downsides were that there was no cellphone reception in the house, I wish we had known that in advance. The other issue was the mattresses seemed very worn so they were very soft. Lastly the kitchen cookware could use an upgrade. Either than that the house was beautiful in a beautiful calm setting. The big garden was a plus.

We stayed at Hill View House for the first time to meet up with two other couples which we do on a yearly basis. The house is lovely and spacious with a fantastic countryside view and in a quiet location. We didn’t use the annex because the main house was large enough to accommodate 6 people with a bathroom each per couple. The beds were really comfortable, showers worked well and the kitchen was amazing. A few grumbles were that the cleaners were running late and didn’t empty the dishwasher and the filter was clogged up but they were very friendly and let us sit in the back garden while waiting. There was no soap in any of the bathrooms. The downstairs cloakroom toilet was out of order and not fixed during the 5 days we stayed there. The contact number given for the Property Manager Claire went straight to voicemail and nobody called back. We tried another number for Claire at StayCotswold which was in the information book inside the house which was answered and she agreed to call round the next day at 10am as the quooker tap was not working correctly but she failed to turn up by 11.30am and so we went out and she didn’t make any contact with us during the rest of our stay. There was no parasol for outside eating and no offer to provide one when we made a special request

This was my second stay here with the same group of friends and it’s highly likely we’ll come again next year. Beautiful house, lovely beds and bedding, great showers, comfortable, clean and very well equipped.

Hill View House was perfect for our family celebration. The accommodation was spacious & well equipped. There is plenty of parking. There is a local inn within walking distance where we enjoyed a family meal. However I would suggest having a grocery delivery. The real bonus with Hill View House is that there is a bathroom for each bedroom, which is important when you are a large group. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property and imagine that on a hot Summer's evening it would be bliss to sit by the stream at the bottom of the property's grounds. Something to aim for!

This property is very well equipped, well decorated and tastefully furnished with plenty of space. All the tech works well - tv, wi-fi, music, lights and blinds - all excellent. The key/check in went smoothly and the instructions throughout the property are comprehensive - note the oven should be studied before use. The grounds are excellent and our dog and the grandchildren loved the space. Village pub a bit of a walk uphill but 2 minutes in the car with dog/children is no problem. Nearby plenty of 'cotswold' stuff for you to choose from or just stay in the garden and chill out. Overall - excellent.
