Tranquil escape at the farm

We liked everything about our stay at Heath Farm. So tranquil, relaxing and a great base for us. A traditional cottage but with high ceilings gave us a feeling of space. Great kitchen full equipped meant preparing food was easy. It was so peaceful, we slept really well.

A real gem!

We stayed in Chestnut which had a patio with a view over the pond and a hot tub. Even though the weather was bit chilly we made the most of this outside space. It was very peaceful with only the sound of birds singing (and a vocal pheasant), and the occasional distant baa from sheep. There were also a few friendly goats in the adjacent field that provided some entertainment. The property was full of character and very clean. We didn’t want to leave!

Fabulous Cottages, gorgeous English garden, croquet lawn, forest trails, well equipped kitchen.. Game room equipped with toys for toddlers to teens plus exercise and music gear. We didn’t want to leave, we have been traveling through Europe for three months and this place is the best. Located among the top rated Cotswolds villages.

wow just wow picturesque views looking down from the jacuzzi. the property and the atmosphere felt like home from home we wish we had of stayed there for a few more nights there is a great out side Area/ courtyard with seats so peaceful. 😊.

Cosy Cotswold Cottages

This was our second time staying here and we loved it all over again. We chose a different cottage this time which had much more space and a hot tub. The location is ideal for cycling and walking, and (in the Summer) swimming. The cottage was well equipped and was super cosy when we lit the fire.

Great choice to experience an English cottage in the Cotswolds

The cottage was very comfortable and very clean. The amenities within the cottage were exceptional, great quality and everything we needed to enjoy relaxing and cooking during our stay. It is clear that the owners pay great attention to maintaining the lovely interior which has beautiful craftmanship throughout. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt it was a home from home as soon as we arrived and even working from the cottage was a pleasure in the peaceful surroundings.

Superb; clean; friendly and a refreshing break; will stay again.

Location between Banbury and Chipping Norton was just right for us. Property was superb, part of a farm complex with free reign to walk the farm lands with plenty of paths set out. Owners also let us pick fruit from their gardens, raspberries, pears, walnuts and rhubarb were all delicious. Sheep and goats outside our windows each day plus a large tranquil pond where we fed the fish each day. Mon and his parents were charming and could not do enough for us. Highly recommended.

We stayed in the Hazelnut Cottage for one week and had a perfect stay.

Heath Farm was a perfect location for visiting various towns and villages in The Cotswolds. The Hazelnut cottage for two was very comfortable and well proportioned and we had a most enjoyable stay. The cottage was like a home from home and every little detail had been thought of to ensure that guests had everything they needed for a relaxed break. The owners provided a very comprehensive information folder with full details of the cottages and Heath Farm - we made good use of the maps provided and ventured on several long walks to nearby villages. The Barbour family were very friendly and helpful - thank you all for a great stay.

We were fully aware of the layout of the cottages and seating areas before our stay but personally would have preferred more private outside seating.

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Heath Farm Cottages for a long awaited family get together and it was just perfect. Such a beautiful location and accommodation and so much to keep my toddler and his big cousins entertained. We were given a warm welcome and wanted for nothing. We were just sorry we couldn’t stay longer.

These cottages are lovely. The owners take such good care of them and every little thing has been thought of. The grounds are amazing and maintained to a high standard. My children loved the open space, games room, hot tub and all the outdoor games sets provided. For adults the setting, peace and tranquillity made for a very relaxing holiday.

It's a lovely setting, wonderful views and lots of land to explore - weather permitting! A peaceful, cosy hideaway for two. Very tasty cake supplied for our arrival.

Location was brill, the site was very beaitiful with plenty to do. Staff lovely always had a smile and chat, very nice cake left for us to enjoy on arrival and milk in the fridge. Cottage was lovely and warm with nice big comfy bed and duvet. Kitchen very well equipped.

Floors not very baby friendly but expected for a cottage.

We gave it 9/10 rather than 10/10 simply because the water from the bathroom tap was too hot and could cause injury to a child or elderly person.
