About this house rental
3 bedroom 1 bath contemporary cottage with windows everywhere on the upper level to let plenty of natural light in. You are surrounded by nature in this private, marsh-side home. Down a long dirt driveway you will find this contemporary private cottage in the woods. Windows everywhere on the upper level, plus a skydome, let plenty of natural light in. Nature abounds in this marsh-side home, built in the modern-house style.
Lower Level: Just off the entry way is a patio. Enter lower level through sliding doors. To the left is a washer/dryer. To the right is a bedroom with a double bed. Split A/C. Down the hall to the left is a full bathroom with tub/shower. Across from the bathroom is another bedroom with 2 twin beds. At the end of the hall is a 2nd set of sliders that go out to an outdoor shower in the woods.
Up the central staircase, spectacular new windows place you squarely in the middle of the idyllic Wellfleet woods. Immediately to the right is the comfortable living area, with ample seating. Step out on the brand new deck, outfitted with outdoor chairs and gas grill. Just off the kitchen is the master bedroom with a double platform bed. There are 1/2 walls surrounding the stairwell upstairs which function as bookshelves in the living area and kitchen storage on the other side.
This is the place for someone looking for an eclectic, rustic cottage with contemporary flair. The home is equipped with high speed internet. The driveway is a bit steep and low riding cars should use caution. It's a private oasis, Wellfleet woods in their splendor!
Non-refundable $250.00 fee (includes administrative fee and damage waiver assurance) plus applicable state and local taxes. Linens not included.

We really enjoyed this retro rustic space. The bathroom is downstairs with two of the bedrooms, as well as an upstairs bedroom, where the main living area and kitchen and dining area are. We enjoyed the architectural quirks, but someone with mobility issues (can climb 15-20 steps) might find it difficult. The house feels secluded, surrounded by trees, which we loved. The house has a somewhat steep driveway so an SUV is probably the better choice for staying at this house. The house came with several different cooking utensils/pans/pots and dish-ware which was great for us as we prefer to cook a lot at home while on vacation. It also had a grill. Laundry was on site, which was very convenient. The space was very centrally located to all the fun attractions of Wellfleet, as well as not too far from Eastham, Truro, or P town. There was an issue with the Wi-Fi being spotty, and then completely non-functioning, but the property manager did their best to coordinate with the owner and try and amend the situation. It was a bit of an issue, as we were trying to work remotely, but used local coffee shops, and the public library while the issue was being addressed. I would not say the Wi-Fi is reliable enough to consistently zoom conference from the home. The mini splits, were amazing and worked great to keep the inside of the house cool, even if it was sweltering outside. Given its rustic wooden structure on the inside, there is the occasional spider which wasn’t a big deal for us, but if you’re deathly afraid of them, the space might give you pause. The outdoor shower and the indoor shower both had great pressure. The full mattresses were on the soft side, but not uncomfortable.
