About this house rental
Our 5 bedroom, 3.5 bath home is located on Salt Run. We have a large back patio with outdoor dining and sitting area, 4 lounge chairs with umbrellas, firepit area, putting green with corn hole boards, outdoor ping pong table, a private heated pool, 3 kayaks, and a dock with floating dock for boat access. Fish, swim, kayak or paddleboard right off the dock or use one of our three kayaks to paddle across to Anastasia State Park and walk over to the ocean for an adventure. You can rent a boat (or bring your own) and tie it up at our dock during your stay. After a day of boating, touring the city, or visiting the beach, come back and take a dip in the pool. You can walk to a number of nearby restaurants and bars or even walk/bike to downtown St. Augustine to see the Fort and shop. We are a little less than a mile from the Bridge of Lions. Bring your bike (or use one of our 4) and explore Lighthouse Park and walk up to the top of the lighthouse for beautiful vistas. You are also biking distance to the Amphitheater for great concerts or check out the local Farmers Market there on Saturdays. Bring your camera and take pictures right off the back deck of numerous birds, dolphins, sea turtles and manatees. Collect oysters from across the Inlet or put our crab trap out and cook up some blue crab or your fresh catch for dinner in our fully equipped kitchen. Wake up and enjoy the splendor of the beautiful sunrises while having your morning coffee on the back deck. We welcome you to enjoy our little piece of paradise!
There is a smaller separate rental on the property but it does not share any amenities/spaces. The patio, pool, & dock are solely for main house guests.

The house was a perfect set up for our large group, enough room for everyone to have their own space. Having enough parking for everyone was great! Each room was equipped with a tv and had access to a bathroom. We were able to enjoy the pool every day of the trip, although we would have liked a way to maintain the cleanliness of the pool from debris. The house was equipped with the essentials, although limited quantities for paper products. We were able to walk to a local taco restaurant that was delicious and there were other local establishments that were walking distance as well. Janet was very responsive to our random inquiries which was great! The view on the backside of the house is phenomenal, a beautiful thing to see each day. We will definitely miss seeing.

We had such a great stay and are already talking about coming back! The location was super peaceful and relaxing. We loved watching the sunrises and spotting dolphins, sea turtles, stingrays, and all kinds of birds right from the property. Fishing off the dock was also a major highlight—we had a blast catching small hammerheads, drum, and catfish.The house itself was very comfortable, with bright, cheerful décor and a great layout that gave everyone plenty of room and privacy. The beds and couches were super comfy, and the clean bathrooms were well-stocked with plush towels. Just a couple of small things we noticed that didn’t really affect our amazing stay: the kitchen and main floor could use a deeper cleaning, and a few extra dish towels would be helpful. The charcoal grill was small and had some rusty water in it, so being big fans of grilling, we bought a small portable grill to make it work (a propane grill would be a fantastic upgrade!). Also, the rear security camera felt a little off-putting at first since it faces the rear outdoor seating, but after a couple of days we barely even noticed it.The big deck with lots of seating was our favorite spot to hang out and enjoy the gorgeous view. The pool was awesome, and we appreciated having access to plenty of beach chairs and pool toys. Bringing our golf cart made getting around incredibly easy, and the beautiful beaches were just a quick drive away. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely return!

House has some ‘missed opportunities’ that we discussed directly with the owner, hopefully the next guests are all good.
Dock was great to have-saw dolphins and sea turtles daily. Easy drive into town that’s full of wonderful history! Great city!
