This property is in an excellent location between Lake Chapala and the town square.
The building is beautiful and well maintained.
Our room was cleaned with fresh towels daily.
Lighting at night could be improved.
We appreciated the fresh fruit for breakfast but other choices were sad.
Info on local restaurants and events would have been helpful,

Casa Caroline Bella has got to be experienced to be believed. It is an old world Mexican Villa in the heart of Ajijic, spacious, meticulously maintained, with manicured gardens, classic Mexican architecture, furnishings and art work. The hosts are responsive and accommodating. The view of the city and mountains from our room was stunning.

This was the cutest place I could have ever hoped to stay. The architecture of the place itself is gorgeous and it felt like a Spanish villa. The grounds are beautifully manicured and it feels like another world. It’s close to many restaurants and shopping and a great central location for exploring Ajijic. The staff is very helpful and willing to help with things we needed. I would stay there again if I ever go back.
