About this house rental
Welcome to this classic West Shore retreat. The two bedrooms each have a King bed, and there are 2 full baths. The family room serves as a 3rd bedroom with 2 Twin beds and a fold-out sofa bed. The living area features a beautiful rock fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen that accesses a large private deck for relaxing and BBQ.
The house is fully equipped for your vacationing needs. There is a smart TV upstairs and the downstairs TV includes a DVD player with access to streaming services (using your own credentials). A new mini sound system is pairable with your devices for music. There is Wi-Fi at the home and access to the Homeowner Association pier (key provided; $200 fee if lost).
Located close to the bike trail system and Kaspian recreational area, and just a short distance from Sunnyside Resort, Homewood ski area, Fire Sign Cafe and West Shore market.
*Must have 4-Wheel drive and snow tires to access this house in the winter.
For your convenience, this home includes a fully equipped kitchen, high-speed Wi-Fi, and an in-unit washer and dryer. We provide all linens and bath towels; most rentals have beach towels for your trips to the lake. Please note that while Tahoe’s mountain breeze and provided fans keep the home comfortable, there is no central A/C. To protect local wildlife, we do not stock pantry staples. Please also be aware that the deck and BBQ may be unavailable during the late fall, winter and early spring months due to snow.

Everything was perfect. Nice quiet location, close to the lake and only 10 minutes from Tahoe City. The house was spotless and very comfortable, with lots of towels, pillows, blankets etc. Loved the king sized bed. Would be perfect for one or two families, or three generations. And so reasonably priced. We enjoyed it very much!

The cabin itself was perfect & home-y. However, in order to receive check in code, I needed to sign a document which was supposed to be emaied to me. I had a busy work week and missed that I was supposed to do this. In addition, the doc was never emailed to me in the first place. I did not realize this until 5pm on Friday as I was trying to check in. The cabin check in time is 4pm and the rental office closes at 4:30. There is a 30 minute window where you could get help if needed. I called the back-up number provided twice and they could not help, only forward my request to check in to another agency who was supposed to email me back. My brother luckily guessed the lock code on the pin pad. If he had not done that, we would not have had a place to stay. It is now 2 weeks after my stay and I still have not received the follow up email which was supposed to be sent from the phone calls I made the day of check in. I could have averted the situation by filling out the docs in advance but around the holidays with work, it slipped my mind. I do think the management company running for a vacation rental business should have after hours and weekend support considering that is when most guests need it. The cabin itself was a great stay - clean, cute, & cozy. I would recommend the cabin but not the management company.
