The only downside was the unlucky weather. I was hoping for snow (to watch from inside) or cold sun (to hang out by the firepit), but we got rain for five days. The cabin was extremely cozy, with the gas fireplace and plentiful blankets. The kitchen made me wish that we stayed longer, as the ease of cooking made it about the same as being at home. The host was responsive, the processing in and out were painless, and it didn't take much to get anywhere we wanted to be when we stepped outside, either a relaxing ten minute drive or a pleasant fifteen minute walk. The neighborhood was beautifully quiet since we were there a little off season, which let us hear the trees creak and sway. All in all, this is pretty much exactly where I would want to be whenever I can. My wife and I will very much be coming back.
