The Cardinal Cottage is perched on 11 beautiful acres just minutes to the New River Gorge. You will love this cottage’s amenities: Hot Tub, Seasonal Fire Pit, Cornhole, Game Room with foosball, dartboard, & card table with board games. Also enjoy the covered porch & two decks for wildlife viewing (deer & turkey are regulars and in summer fireflies too. Gourmet Kitchen. 2 Spa like baths with custom tiled showers & Bluetooth speakers. Smart TVs. We are pet friendly (See details below for pets).

Was an excellent place to spend a few days with a friend and our dogs. The host was great and helped got a left item back quickly. Kitchen was well stocked and great for cooking in a lot.

The property was absolutely gorgeous and meticulously maintained—it truly checked every one of our needs for this trip. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how beautiful and well-kept everything was.The hosts' kindness and attentiveness were just as impressive. Shelby was an amazing host—always there to help if we encountered any issues and full of fantastic recommendations for both day hikes and local food.After a long day of hiking, the comfortable beds were extremely inviting. We especially appreciated the expansive property, where we were able to sit outside and relax. The location is perfect, being only a mile or two from the Endless Wall Trail.As for dining, we took Shelby's advice and would highly recommend Cathedral for breakfast, and Pies and Pints and Secret Sandwich Society for dinner.This was a truly wonderful trip that will stay in our memories forever. We would highly, highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a beautiful, comfortable stay with outstanding hosts!
