In the area, visit Attingham Park, a national trust property. In the summer make sure to check out the outdoor cinema and music concerts on offer. Or visit the historic Ironbridge Gorge, to take you back in time with the many museums to explore. The Dingle in Shrewsbury’s Quarry Park is a beautiful private garden, the perfect picnic spot on a sunny day. Shrewsbury itself boasts many charms. Nothing was too much trouble for the lovely owners if anything was missing you just asked and it would appear. Lots of NT houses and parks around, walks from the door we just enjoyed every moment and will return.
