About this cottage rental
Peacefully tucked away within the tranquil village of Ryton, this converted barn with exposed timbers and red brick is just perfect for any stay in Shropshire. Offering comfortable accommodation, with open-plan living on the ground floor ideal for entertaining. Well placed and just 6 miles from Shrewsbury the ancient medieval market town of Shropshire which is brimming with over 600 listed buildings including the castle and world-famous Abbey. Church Stretton an excellent base for the country lover and sportsman alike with walking and cycling for all abilities. For enthusiastic golfers The Shreswbury Golf Club is just 2 miles away. Much Wenlock a stunningly beautiful historic town, birthplace of the modern Olympian movement and many unique shops, tea rooms, a 12th century priory and museum. National Trust properties to include Chirk and Powis Castles, Erddig and Attingham Park with beautiful grounds and gardens.
On entering the property, you will find a well lit spacious lounge with TV (Netflix and Sky Sports included!) and DVD player with multi-fuel burning stove for those cosy nights in relaxing on the sofa with a large double set of doors leading out to the private patio area.. Also, on the ground level there is a open kitchen/diner which is well-equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge with freezer box with the added benefit of a utility room with washing machine and separate WC. On the first floor you will find 2 bedrooms; 1 super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into a twin on request) with TV and en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC and another super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into a twin on request) with TV and en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC.
Outside benefits from a patio area with garden furniture ideal for al fresco dining or enjoying a cold drink on a summers evening, with access leading directly into the open plan lounge.
