Humbug Cottage

Cosy, very central, very well equipped

We loved our stay in Humbug Cottage, the Cottage itself was charming, with lots of traditional features. Julie left us a massive welcome pack which was really nice. We loved the dining seated area at the window, and the quirky features in the cottage. The beds were really comfy, and there was everything you needed in the kitchen. Much Wenlock is a beautiful town, with lots of shops, cafes and pubs to keep you busy. We loved walking around the streets looking at the beautiful architecture. Lovely historical sites to visit too. Would definitely recommend.

It was clean, comfortable beds and sofa/chairs. Everything you needed was provided, numerous fans, we did stay in the heatwave, and it’s in a great location.

The only negatives are if you are nearly 6ft or over, like our son, it’s difficult to use the en-suite/shower due to the ceiling height. There is a bathroom on the next floor up however, it doesn’t have a shower only a bath. Another door key would have been useful.

Location good lovely town

Property like previous family who stayed could have been cleaner have a look behind the cabinet under tv. Dropped the remote behind there and surprised to see it has not been cleaned for a while. Quite a few cobwebs around light fittings and shower leaks in bedroom on first floor
