Pleasant period property in a beautiful location

Lovely period property, pleasantly decorated and spacious. Fitted with modern appliances and 2 bathrooms. Gorgeous location, suitable for exploring beautiful Ironbridge and surroundings.

I’m not sure why the Ring doorbell has to overlook the hot tub. I understand it’s for security but it felt a bit like being spied on in the hot tub, especially for the female guests! A gazebo over the hot tub would also have been ideal so that we could have used the hot tub in the rain. Downstairs shower room/toilet not as nicely decorated/modern as the upstairs.

Fabulous Mom and Daughter/Son break!

We booked a short weekend break here as a group of 6. Beautiful cosy house, hot tub ready to use upon arrival and fabulous location for local amenities. We took tea, sugar and coffee with us but there was already some provided in the kitchen along with dishwasher tablets and shower gel/shampoo in both downstairs shower room and upstairs ensuite bathroom. It's little touches like this that make all the difference. Bed linen was lovely and beds/pillows were comfy too. Communication from the owners was fantastic, we will definitely book again!

If we were asked to critique anything we could only say the bath towels could do with being replaced (a bit thin and scratchy) and possibly the addition of a gazebo over the hot tub would be a lovely touch but not essential as we enjoyed it even without one

Spacious property with hot tub in an excellent location

The location of the property was excellent. The hot tub was amazing, warm and clean. The three double bedrooms were a good size, with comfy mattresses/pillows and the upstairs bathroom was lovely. Both showers were powerful and we appreciated the extras in house, such as shampoo, body wash, kitchen cleaning items.

None of what I mention affected our stay, but we hopefully it is useful feedback to take forwards. The downstairs bathroom was very dated, the door didn't lock and the flush handle kept falling off. All downstairs windows (and majority of upstairs) would not open, nor did we have a key for the frontdoor, this posed a risk in terms of safety in the event of a fire.

This property was beautiful, period features and so well equipped. Amazing hot tub and big rooms, bathroom upstairs was fab. Perfect location. Hosts were very responsive if we needed anything.

I liked everything about the property but it isn’t a new property and yes the windows are single pane so u will hear people leaving the pub and walking past, didn’t bother us.

Lovely location but property required work although difficult when listed

Lovely property lots of character, location was beautiful and tranquil and 15 mins away from Telford centre. Property heating worked great !

Pub either side of property noisy at night especially as single pane windows. Blinds for the bedroom weren’t great and some broken letting in a lot of light from the streetlight outside one bedroom and flood lights from pub. Windows were dirty with spiders everywhere on the windows. One bedroom had en-suite the other toilet and shower are downstairs. Stairs are extremely steep and all bedroom doors are right on top of the stairs take a stair gate if taking children. Damp is visible in the property and set off our child’s asthma. Entrance door self locks if going out to the hot tub or to let someone in take the key with you !!!! Hosts were incredible when messaged through the app and came straight away when locked out.

Great location near the centre of Ironbridge. Nice to have the hot tub to use. Good size for our party of 6.

Lovely stay

Excellent location. Bedrooms and living space were beautiful and enjoyed the hot tub.

Gorgeous property but lacked a few bits in the kitchen such as pizza tray and cutter. There were no dishwasher tablets left in the property but we did bring our own. However it was not functional as it had no salt or rinse aid in. We were left with washing up liquid and sponges but only one tea towel and on a short break away, it would have been nice to have had the luxury of not having to hand wash. We really enjoyed the hot tub but the head rests are probably in need of replacement as the material was worn and did end up leaving bits in the hot tub. It was a lovely stay but with a few little extras in the kitchen (surface spray and cloth, dishwasher tablets, a small welcome pack, pizza tray and cutter), this could easily have been 10/10.

Beautiful and comfortable house

Hot tub a real treat, loved having 3 double bedrooms, downstairs toilet/shower room. Very clean, superb location, beautifully decorated and furnished. Quick response from hosts with any queries. Great to have dishwasher tablets available and nice shower gel, shampoo and conditioner.

Front gate a little difficult to lock as tricky to get shut easily More storage or surface space in ensuite room would be beneficial, also maybe additional sockets in that room would help. These suggestions should not put you off staying here, it's a lovely property Steep stairs if you have mobility concerns

Such a disappointment

The location was lovely. We got moved to another property which we were happy to do as we'd already decided we weren't staying because of the issues we'd experienced. Owner apologetic and bought us prosecco and chocolates but even the second property wasn't up to scratch.

Hot tub was dirty, discoloured and scummy on arrival and not up to temperature so unable to use. Waiting for responses from owners was frustrating. Property was cold on arrival and no welcome pack / information to hand. Log burner not connected!!!! Heating wasn't coming on. We were huddled around with blankets round our shoulders.
