Whether you choose to relax or play, the northwoods will rejuvenate your soul. Island Lake is a 3000 acre fully recreational lake know for the abundance of walleye, the delicious MN State fish. Enjoy fishing, boating, watersports, snow shoeing, snowmobiling, etc. During the warmer months you will hear the loons calling and watch the eagles soaring right from the covered porch. During the cooler months you will find plenty of public hunting, skiing and snowmobile trails near by. Enjoy the solitude of cabin life or adventure out to nearby local attractions like the Lost 40, Chippewa National Forrest, Red Lake, Lake Buena Vista Recreation Area, etc.

This place is amazing, exactly what was listed. We had a great week of hunting in the area and it was great to come back to such a comfortable setting. The owner was great and very responsive.

Wonderful set up for children, all water “toys” are right there, didn’t need to bring anything. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Fans should have been cleaned, I had to clean the master bedroom fan before turning it on. Only 3 washcloths for entire family. Had to buy some to get thru the week. Beautiful views, family had tons of fun

Nice cabin, had lots of amenities and fun things to do on a beautiful lake. Close to town couldn’t have asked for things to better. Definitely interested in renting this cabin again in the future.

We loved our stay! The property is private, clean and had so much to offer for our family. We enjoyed the lake, fished, played games, jumped on trampoline, and nightly camp fires.
