About this cabin rental
Welcome to the perfect cabin getaway! This listing includes BOTH of our two-bedroom, 525 square foot cabins, AND a shared Game Room as well! Inquire about our additional amenities available for rent as well, including our SSV-16 Lund Fishing boat, paddle boards, kayaks, ebikes, and Bote Inflatable dock.
These two cabins are identical in layout, except one has a screened in porch and the other has a beautiful, open deck. Both have all of the amenities you need to simply relax and enjoy everything that cabin life has to offer. They are perfect for two families looking to getaway together and still have a private space of their own. Our cabins are directly located on Big Portage Lake in Backus, Minnesota. We are only minutes away from the Paul Bunyan State Trail and miles and miles of state land to explore. . Our mission is to give you a carefree vacation with all the trimmings. We work to make sure that we think of everything from kitchen utensils to lawn games. Enjoy our high speed internet, explore the Portage Chain Lakes, or just sit back and sip our provided coffee, enjoying the sights of nature.
We do have a one room bunk house for rent as well. The last few pictures feature the bunkhouse. Please note that the dock, game room and other amenities are not available from late October until May!

Wonderful accommodations! Cute, quaint, clean cottages. Jennifer was easy to communicate with and prompt to respond… couldn’t be nicer or more helpful. Both cottages agreed, it was a wonderful family vacation

I rented this property for myself and my family! There were 11 of us, from 2 to 60. The game room was an unbelievable added bonus. It kept all of us entertained for hours! The cabins, amenities, lake and peacefulness was absolutely wonderful

Such a good time at these cute cabins. The cabins are stocked with games, beach towels, kitchen utensils, outdoor furniture, two grills and a separate game room! Tie outs available if you bring your dogs is an awesome touch and a smore station. We rented the fishing boat and that was fun for the fishers and the kids. The game room was a lot of fun for the family and nice to have some for some the rainy times. The hosts responded quickly when we had questions and requested fire wood.

The cabins were very well maintained, very clean and great parking area. The play area for the kids was FANTASTIC couldn’t have asked for anything better. I would recommend this for a family vacation.Thank youSteve and Anne
