About this cabin rental
*Note- this is NOT DOWNTOWN, but about 3 to 5 minutes away (Map is wrong on Airbnb). This cabin is located at the PONDEROSA LODGE in Glenwood Springs, CO. It is a quaint, 2-story cabin with a queen sofa-sleeper, bathroom with glass shower, TV, and fully stocked kitchen (full stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker/coffee/creamer/sugar/tea, spices, cooking utensils, pots, pans, service for 4 guests), and a small cement patio out the sliding glass door. The second floor is accessible through a NARROW spiral staircase (not suitable for children under 5ish years old), and has a queen sized mattress on the floor (no foundation or bed frame), small upstairs patio, TV and half bathroom. The second story is a very low clearance due to the gabled roof of the A-frame cabin, therefore it is also not recommended for very tall people, or those who might be unable to access the bedroom upstairs through the very narrow and steep spiral staircase.

The cabin was perfect for my family and our needs. We were in Glenwood Springs for the weekend to visit my granddaughter who attends CMC. We planned to eat our meals out and spend the evening at Iron Mountain Springs, so we knew we wouldn’t be spending a lot of time in the cabin or need a ton of space. It was great to have two bathrooms, separate sleeping areas, and we enjoyed coffee in the morning before picking up my granddaughter for breakfast. We, of course, enjoyed the beautiful mountains views. We would definitely return.
