About this house rental
4 Tennessee Avenue beach house is located directly 1 mile between downtown Lewes with its shopping and restaurants and Cape Henlopen Park with its big wave beach, biking trails, nature center, and more. Desire a peaceful beach without the hustle and bustle? Lewes' Bay Beach is just a short walk away with a dedicated path to the beach (unfortunately it is not handicapped accessible or suitable for wheels). From the beach you can watch the ferry come in or dig up shells at low tide. Without big waves, you can sit back and relax while the kids swim and explore. The sunset here is beautiful!
This 5 bedroom, 3.5 bath house is filled with natural light and an open floor plan capable of hosting 12 in complete comfort. Streaming, and WIFI included. Sleep capacity is for 12 but will allow two additional children on included air mattress or pack and play.
The first floor consists of a living area with 65" smart TV, game table, books, games, and puzzles to enjoy. Host your crew in the open kitchen that sits 5 at the counter and 6-8 at the table. Walk outside to grill on the back deck or sip your morning coffee on the front screened in porch. The first floor also hosts a washer and dryer and master bedroom with queen size bed and 60" smart TV and computer/writing desk.
Head to the second floor and choose from the master with king size bed, 42" smart TV, sofa, and writing desk, queen size bed with connected bathroom and 65" smart TV, queen bedroom with 65" smart TV, or kids suite with twin bunk beds and sofa bed. Sit and read to your children before they climb up to bed or pull out the sofa to create a full size bed for additional children.
Enjoy the under house gem where you can store and lock away beach gear (2 chairs, toys, and wagon included), hang out away from the sun and watch the kids play basketball in semi private street, or enjoy a private outdoor shower. Overall very nice and clean. Listing should be more precise on availability of towels and linens. That was a surprise that the location manager was gracious to help out with. Needs extra blankets available, bigger cups/glasses. Better description of beach access on the listing. It's not far walk, but longer than expected. There was four of us when we were full, so plenty of room for everyone.
