Budnick's Lakeview - New Construction in 2021! This spectacular home is perched high above the west side of Canadarago Lake looking East - it is sure to please everyone in your group! Views, new construction, outdoor seating, firepit, lawn games, did we mention views?, and so much more. Once you arrive at Budnick's Lakeview you won't want to leave. There are plenty of great spaces inside and out to take in the terrific long distances views of Canadarago Lake, Deowongo Island and the surrounding hills.
If you do have to head out, the Village of Cooperstown and the Dreams Park are only about a 20-25 min ride through the rolling country hillside. Inside you will find 3 queen bedrooms and 2 baths and an open floor plan for the kitchen, living, and dining area. This layout makes for a great space to hang out and relax while taking advantage of the wrap around deck and views. If outside activities are your thing, your host provides a basketball hoop, pickleball court and cornhole toss to help pass the time. Upstairs in the game loft, there is a table for playing cards and board games as well as a Ping-Pong table and a pool table. Budnick's Lakeview calls for relaxation. The wonderful deck with high visibility railings, gas firepit and lounge furniture make for a perfect spot to enjoy a book, cocktail or even do work if you have the misfortune of having to still be on the clock while on vacation.
Your host does provide 3 kayaks and a canoe, as well as paddles and life jackets. Guests must be able to transport these watercraft in their own vehicle to/from the nearby NYS Boat Launch. There is a nominal daily use fee per vehicle at the boat launch which would be paid by the guest.

We had 3 separate families stay here for a wedding. The location was very convenient to the church in Herkimer, the reception in Richfield Springs, and family in Cooperstown. Everything about the house was perfect! Comfortable beds, nice linens, great full bathrooms with plenty of quality towels, well stocked kitchen. And the view was breathtaking - especially in the mornings as the mist rose over the lake.

Our extended family of 10 (ages 3-69) recently spent a long holiday weekend at Budnick's Lakeview. The house was exceptionally clean and well appointed. The views from the deck are spectacular, and there's abundant seating so everyone can take in the lovely vistas. The indoor and outdoor amenities offer something for everyone so you'll never get bored: ping pong, billiards, movies, games and puzzles, basketball, pickleball, corn hole, kayaks, etc. The living room with vaulted ceiling has a cozy fireplace for chilly nights, and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare home cooked meals. There's plenty of parking and the home is a short drive to Cooperstown/the Baseball Hall of Fame and other local tourist spots like museums and cider mills. The owner was flexible, easy to work with, and very responsive. Our family had a wonderful time reconnecting and making wonderful memories. We can't wait to visit Budnick's Lakeview again!

This beautiful home had everything we needed for our stay and more!!! We enjoyed relaxing on deck in the evenings overlooking the lake. We would definitely stay there again!
