Welcome to Our Place by the Sea, a stunning stand-alone single-family home in the heart of Seaside, Florida, perfectly positioned to enjoy all the town has to offer. Walk to over 40 shops and restaurants steps from your front door! This expansive retreat boasts multiple porches, decks, and a breathtaking open-air tower, along with private parking and a beautifully landscaped yard with outdoor dining. Guests are greeted by a large screened-in front porch with rocking chairs and a bench swing—ideal for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine.
Inside, the bright and airy living room is surrounded by windows and features a queen sleeper sofa, a large flat-screen TV, and a Sonos soundbar for family movie nights or catching the game. The renovated kitchen, complete with quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and bar seating for two, opens to a dining room for four to six, with double doors leading to a rear deck with Adirondack seating and another deck for outdoor dining in total privacy.
Upstairs, the primary king suite offers a renovated ensuite bathroom, a private mounted flat-screen TV, ample storage, and double doors leading to a secluded porch with rocking chairs—perfect for an afternoon read or evening nightcap. A ship’s ladder leads from the bedroom to the crown jewel of the home: the open-air tower. Here, two can unwind with bar-top Adirondack seating while enjoying 360-degree panoramic views of Seaside, glimpses of the Gulf, and spectacular sunsets over the town and coastline. This was our 7th time staying in Seaside, and I believe we have found our favorite cottage! It is exactly as it was described. The location on Forest St made it a very short walk to Town Square, especially when we went through Ruskin Park, which is always lovely. The inside was very spacious. It was just my husband and me, but we could easily bring our 2 grandkids and still have plenty of space. We had some rain during our stay, so it was nice to have several comfortable places to be indoors. We especially appreciated having the half-bath downstairs and a good-sized dining area. The bedroom upstairs was huge, and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed having a porch off the bedroom, and we even made it up to the observation tower. There is honestly not one thing we had any issues with.We were met immediately by a Homeowner's Collection representative. They are always so proactive and responsive - I can't imagine going through any other rental agency. (And the tote bag is super cute this year!)Despite not having our own property here, Seaside has come to feel like a second home to us. We'll be booking our next stay soon!

The place is great for a couple. The kitchen was well stocked with the basics. The bed was very comfortable. Enjoyed the living area at night.Seaside is a family-oriented neighborhood with lots of shops and eating establishments nearby. This was very convenient, but it was very crowded and not that relaxing an environment.

Our rental experience provided all the information we needed in advance, during and after checking in/out. Upon arrival we found beach towels and a new cooler bag, fresh mini supplies of laundry detergent, dishwashing soap and dw detergent plus a small bag of custom ground coffee. These touches were awesome. The service provider, added extras, spotlessness, accommodations and access to the village, tennis courts and beach were perfect in every way.
