About this house rental
Staying at our home, Anchors by The Park, you will experience all that Cape Charles has to offer, being just three blocks from the beach and Mason Street. Built in 2016, this home features two primary suites, one being on the first floor. With the home facing the central park, you can enjoy summer concerts right from the front porches. The first floor offers an open floor plan. The second floor includes, the second primary suite, a third bedroom large enough to accommodate four adults or children, an additional open gaming area with a pull-out couch. The spacious backyard, which includes a gas grill and an outdoor shower, is perfect for gatherings or for relaxing while sitting under the screened-in back deck. Additionally, we offer a four-seater and six-seater beach cruisers available to rent, ready to go when you arrive on the property.
Please note: This rental is for the main house and yard only. The detached garage is private and not included. The garage remains a multipurpose utility space for the property.

We loved our stay and cannot wait to return. We spent the week here with our preschooler and my parents. The house had plenty of space for everyone to get ample rest, plenty of bathrooms so no one ever had to wait for a shower, and a lot of common spaces for us to gather as a family. It overlooks the park, which is a HUGE plus for anyone staying with young kids. The porches were so, so nice and a great way to end the day. We will be coming back soon!

House overlooks the park so good if traveling with little kids. Golf carts can be rented directly and it was awesome having them stored away in the garage. The 6 seater golf carts is very fast and both are very nice golf carts. Note that there is a resident that lives above the garage. The stairs to the garage unit come into the backyard and the tenant does laundry in the garage. So, if renting golf carts and have garage access, anything you store in the garage is accessible by the tenant. The first night we were there, the tenant parked behind the garage blocking our ability to get the golf cart out of the garage. We had to contact the owner for resolution. I would not have rented the house had we known there was someone else living on the property…we either missed this in the listing or it’s not clearly noted. Additionally, one golf cart was not charged when we arrived. Owner tried to say it was operator error but after charging for a few house, we will able to get the golf cart to start. No discount for the loss of use for a first day was offered.

We had a great extended weekend! The house was perfect for our family. It is in a great location. Renting the golf cart here was also alot better. We will come back to this house. Thanks!
