Welcome to our family-friendly Cape Charles beach retreat — thoughtfully designed for relaxing getaways, memory-making, and easy Eastern Shore living. We completely overhauled the home in 2018 with guests in mind, blending ESVA coastal charm with all the comforts of home to create the perfect escape for families, couples, or multi-generational vacations.
The home features a fully stocked kitchen ready for everything from pancake breakfasts to seafood dinners, comfortable living spaces to unwind after a beach day, smart TVs for all your streaming favorites, and new mattresses and bedding to ensure restful nights after long days in the sun.
Designed specifically for family travel, the layout includes two spacious primary bedrooms (one on the main level), each with king beds — ideal for two families vacationing together, grandparents joining the trip, or simply giving everyone a little extra space to relax.
For beach lovers and outdoor adventurers, we’ve stocked the house with everything you need to enjoy Cape Charles to the fullest. Guests have access to a stand-up paddleboard (SUP), adult two person kayak, two children’s kayaks, beach toys, chairs, umbrellas, and a beach wagon to make trips to the sand simple and stress-free.
Whether you’re spending your days exploring the calm Chesapeake Bay waters, biking through town, enjoying local restaurants and shops, or simply relaxing on the porch with family and friends, our home is the perfect base to experience everything Cape Charles and Virginia’s Eastern Shore have to offer.

Very charming home in a great location with all of the necessities for a week-long stay. The bedrooms are well furnished and perfectly spaced along with 3 bathrooms. Bathrooms include tubs, which makes things easy for kids that are too little for showers. Such a great layout for larger families. The kitchen has everything you need to cook meals. The fridge and freezer is large. It’s a little low on storage space for groceries, but we just used the kitchen island counter to store our items and that worked out fine.Our host was very helpful and communicative regarding our stay. Check in and check out was very straightforward. We would absolutely book here again in the future.

The house is very spacious and has plenty of room for at least two families or a large group. The beds and furniture were all clean and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few meals in-house (and we ate all of our breakfasts at "home"). Jen has stocked the house with so many great books, games, art supplies, and toys to keep people busy on rainy or low-key days. There are even a couple of kid-sized bikes and a kid kayak in the shed! We felt very welcome and relaxed at the house and would definitely stay again. Bonus - Jen let us know that there were a few minor cosmetic issues from the previous renters to be fixed before our stay and gave us a credit at a local restaurant to make up for it.
