About this cottage rental
A small, historic thatched cottage from the 18th century, recently renovated. This historic landmark (approx. 75 m²) is located on a picturesque cul-de-sac right next to the old Elbe dike in the Kehdinger Land region.
The street is also called “Fairy Tale Street” because it’s lined with several small historic cottages. Across the street, you’ll find a small lake surrounded by trees and shrubs. On the outer side of the dike, you’ll find the Süderelbe right there. Not far away is the small Dornbuscher Harbor, where you can take your stand-up paddleboard or similar equipment out onto the water at high tide to enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings. The property features one parking space, a covered patio with a sun lounger and a gas grill, as well as a small garden for relaxing. On the first floor, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen with a washing machine, a large dining area, a living room with a sofa, a TV, an additional pull-out daybed, and a brick fireplace, as well as a bathroom with a walk-in shower. A small staircase leads to the upper floor, where there are 2 bedrooms with 2 double beds and 1 crib. In addition, a small 1.40 m wide sleeping loft offers space for (2 children). Duvets and pillows are provided; bed linens and towels are not included. (An emergency kit is available on-site for a fee.) You can also use free Wi-Fi throughout the house. This is a pet-free home.
