It is also possible to try your luck at fishing nearby, e.g. Kotterbachsee, Wischafener Süderelbe, Burfeindteich, Ruthenstrom Krautsand. There are numerous routes for mountain biking in the immediate vicinity, including on the other side of the Elbe, which can be reached quickly and easily by ferry.
