Delightfully furnished, quiet and comfortable, in the historic center

Danilo (host) was extremely helpful responded to our requests and questions immediately. Check in/out process was well explained and easy. The apartment was clean, fully equipped kitchen comfortable and quiet. Centrally located near shops and restaurants. We highly recommend this property when traveling to Catania.

If you’re looking to be near all of the action in Catania, look no further! This place is on a quiet side road that is so close to the main piazzas, cathedrals, restaurants, and bars. The apartment is for spacious extra clean and the bed is Perfect.

After reading previous reviews, disappointed that there were not any welcoming items. Large spacious rooms, great kitchen but needs an Nespresso coffee machine.Location excellent.Lost water for the apartment (mentioned in another review) for one evening. It would have nice if host brought bottled water the next morning to drink instead of telling guests to buy it themselves.

The apartment is in an ideal location for exploring central Catania, a short walk from the Cathedral, the Ursino, and Piazza Borsellino where the airport bus stops. 2 blocks walk and you're in the main pedestrian tourist area, but far enough away that it's pretty quiet at night. If you're arriving by train though, it's not really walkable from the station.It's two floors above street level; communication with manager was decent (although responses sometimes were a bit slow). Checkin is by keycode, so there was no direct contact or explanation of things like switches and appliances. The layout is nice and furnishings are good, with lots of closet storage in the bedroom. The kitchen is better furnished than most, although the knives should be replaced as they have almost all been chipped or bent by previous renters. Owners have provided lots of thoughtful touches, including umbrellas, a grocery cart, a pac-n-play, cleaning implements (surprisingly rare in our experience) and extra bedding. All rooms have air conditioning. The beds are a little softer than we normally like, but were comfortable nonetheless.We enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return in the future.
