Welcome to Texas tropical paradise.
This nicely redecorated 2nd floor 1BR 1 bath condo with a beachfront balcony at The Florence is a perfect place to relax and enjoy your time at South Padre. From the balcony you feel like you are sitting right on the beach. We have high speed WIFI, a 50" & Spectrum cable with Showtime. King bedroom, queen sofa sleeper and a full roll away hidden in a cabinet in the living area will each sleep two comfortably. The new kitchen has a pantry and dishwasher along with all the things you need to prepare meals during your stay. You'll sleep well on the new Comforpedic Loft king mattress with comfy cotton sheets. There is a 40" TV & DVD in the bedroom. The condo is stocked with lots of towels and even beach towels.
To help you pack light we furnish beach chairs, a beach umbrella, boogie boards and a small ice chest to take to the beach. We want you to have everything to enjoy your SPI beach vacation! The beach is a short walk through the gated pool area and across the boardwalk. We have shower stations for you upon your return from the beach. You can rinse off, rinse off your beach equipment and have it ready to go for your next beach day.
We are located toward the north part of the island between Clayton's and Wanna Wanna. Walking distance to many places but away from the noise and crowds.
The island has a free Metro bus that picks up right in front of the building and runs until 9:00 PM.

Security Dates: $25 ID Wristbands are required for each guest over the age of 10 during the following times: Spring Break Texas week, Easter weekend, Samana Santa, and Independence Day Holiday weekend. Please reach out for current security dates if you are booking around these dates. This cost pays for security that is hired during these times.
A rental agreement is required and will be sent to you for digital signature after booking.
All guests must adhere to the rules of the building.

We had an amazing time. We traveled with a 10 and 8 year old and it was plenty of space. It is a very modern style condo with an amazing beach vibe throughout. The kitchen is fully stocked with the supplies you need . The condo was spotless. I mean SPOTLESS! The bed is very comfortable and the linen smelled amazing . The views are absolutely amazing. It is a quiet property , and felt very safe. The parking was easy and access to the beach is literally footsteps away. The beach items they supplied were an added bonus making our trip awesome. We are already planning our next trip!

A beautiful condo and perfect for our needs. The view and beach access was perfect. The bed was very comfortable. The only con to our stay was the water pressure in the beautiful shower was a little more than a trickle but otherwise everything was perfect. We would definitely stay again.

Our condo was nice. Bathroom looked like it was brand new. There was a large crack in a few of the tiles next to the bed that was covered up by a area rug. I almost cut my foot on them as they were uneven, but I just move the rug around to cover it up.Kitchen had all the supplies needed. The ice machine in the freezer didn't work, but I just used some Tupperware that I found to make ice. Patio chairs might need to be updated, but we're fine.Overall, the place was nice and I would recommend staying there.

Overall location is great. Condo definitely needs updates like paint, new microwave and balcony curtains need to be cleaned or replaced
