About this apartment rental
A private romantic guest suite located in the wine cellar on a high hill overlooking the lake. The lodging has its own private entrance and deck extending out to the lake. Outside the first bedroom window is a beautiful garden with fountain. The second bedroom looks out over the lake. It is newly renovated with bathroom, kitchenette, living room and bedrooms. My guests will also have access to my "Sky Deck" on the roof of my home giving the viewer one of the highest and best views of Canyon Lake and the Texas hill country. Many of my guests have celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, weddings and honeymoons here. It has been my privilege to share my home with them on those special occasions. I would also like to mention we are centrally located with less than an hour driving time to many of well known hill country towns like Wimberley, Fredericksburg, New Braunfels, San Marcos, Austin and San Antonio. Finally, I am also open for one-night stays under the right conditions

This place is an absolute gem with an incredible view. Chris was beyond hospitable and fabulous. We would definitely book it again. Do keep in mind, the bathroom is very small and not really easy to share with others, but that’s a very small downfall compared to everything else. In the evenings, there are deer all over the neighborhood, like over 20 every day. Love it!

This location is stunning. The views are unbelievable. The accommodations exceeded my expectations. This location was exactly as advertised. Pictures were accurate to the home and lookout points. Chris is extremely polite and helpful but also gives you your privacy and space. His book with activities and restaurants were spot on. I stayed here by myself for a kayak adventure on the lake. This adventure and accommodation were exactly what I was looking for. I will definitely be back.

First, the host Chris was very out going and very helpful with any question. He also provided excellent resources inside for researching the local area. Inside there's plenty of room. The beds were very comfortable, and there are ample everyday items so you don't need to run out to the store for too much. The best part of the property is of course the garden and the very open balcony and patio that overlooks the beautiful lake. There's also every type of furniture available to relax. If you want a hammock,there's a hammock, if you want rocking chairs, swing, chairs and tables, etc...they're all there! A great stay.
