Overall this was a great property. It was well maintained, clean, well stocked, and had clear instructions for everything. Only thing is I wish they would have been up front about how far the lake actually is right now with the water levels being low. We booked this property based on it being waterfront, however it is actually .37 mile walk to the lake.

Upon arrival, the check-in process was very easy and communicated codes in advance. If you want early check-in, a fee is charged. I thought this was tacky. I've never had any other locations ever do this, as it's just a nice accommodation if able to do so. At first glance, the house appears clean. However, the track to the slider door was filled with bugs, dirt, debris that could easily be vacuumed out. Both larger beds had stained sheets and were very loud. If you moved you woke up from hearing the springs. The master bathroom does not have an operable shower, which is misleading from the picture and description. The downstairs and upstairs is closed off so the only way to go downstairs is through the outside and around the house. With this being the case, the downstairs slider and door were not and could not be locked. That was a little sketchy. Plan to bring your own firewood. Although the description pictures and promotes the firepit in the backyard, there were 2 logs for us to burn. Overall, our stay served our purpose because we were out doing activities and just needed somewhere to rest our heads. If you were truly planning to spend your time at this house and on the property I would not recommend.
