About this house rental
Scandinavian-inspired house for 4 to 6 people. This charming cottage with elaborate and refined decoration is ideally located 1.5km from the village of Cormeilles but is located in the middle of nature between sea and countryside in the heart of the Pays d'Auge in the Normandy countryside. The house is 20 minutes from Deauville. It is located in the "Norman golden triangle of the Pays d'Auge between Blangy le château, Pont L'évêque and Deauville-Trouville.
Old barn, completely restored in 2013, near the owners' home. Inspired by Norway, the Garden Cabin will seduce you with the comfort and design of its 50's furniture. The geographical location is ideal at the end of a hedgerow path. The land is bordered by a wood and fields with cows and horses. The cottage offers you a spectacular and breathtaking view of the Calonne valley in the heart of the Pays d'Auge. The cottage is located on a magnificent non-private English garden (common to the owner) on which you will find two ponds as well as a swimming pool (not accessible to tenants for insurance reasons). A private terrace facing west ensures calm, rest and tranquility.
The house is located 1km from the village of Cormeilles with all its shops (restaurants, delicatessen, antique dealers, food traders, supermarket, gas station...) and sports activities. The cottage is in the middle of the region of stud farms and equestrian centers. The nearest is 3km away. Deauville and Trouville are 30 minutes away and you are 25 minutes from Honfleur by the small country roads. Bicycles and other sports equipment are at your disposal.

We have stayed here with 6 friends for 4 days.
The house is very nicely decorated, with nice views. The kitchen is well equipped. With 6 people, 2 people had to sleep on the sofa bed, but that was no problem for us. Beautiful surroundings and plenty to do.
The only improvement point for us is that there was only one mirror, an extra mirror in, for example, the bedroom would be desirable.
Overall, highly recommended!
