About this apartment rental
2 bedrooms with double beds, 1 bathroom, 1 living room and a kitchen, all with air conditioning
Located in front of Fado Museum in Alfama a neighborhood which is composed of a maze of narrow streets, winding alleyways, and steep flights of steps. Its kasbah-like layout is deliberate - this is the city's ancient Arab district, and although there are no Moorish houses still standing, the tightly-packed lanes, small archways, and stone-paved terraces are full of atmosphere

A bed and a baby chair are also available.
Check-in and check-out times
Check-in time is between 17:00 and 22:00 on the start date of your booking unless another time has been agreed with us.
Check-out time is until 11:00 on the last day of your booking unless another time has been agreed with us. Unauthorized late departures will incur additional charges.
On the day of arrival, guests must present their identity documents (passport or identity card) to the owners.
By law, we are obliged to report some personal details of each guest to the Immigration and Borders Service (SEF).
Extra guests
The guest on whose behalf the booking was made must stay in the accommodation as we cannot accept bookings for other people.
Extra people are not allowed beyond the number of people on the reservation.
Airbnb and Booking take this issue so seriously that in the event of a complaint, the booking is canceled and the guest is not entitled to any compensation.
Quiet hours
Quiet hours are from 22:00 to 7:00.
Please keep noise levels to a minimum during this time to ensure a peaceful environment for all guests.
Tobacco and drugs
As a family home, we have a no-smoking policy, so we ask that you do not smoke inside the property
What you do in your personal time is entirely up to you, but when you stay in our home, we have a strict no drugs policy.
Pets
Although animals can be very well-behaved at home, how they will behave in a new space is not a given. And nobody wants to hear a dog barking at 2am or a cat meowing
Unfortunately, the costs of cleaning up after the animal are enormous in order to avoid allergies for the next guests.
And then there's the problem of smell: nobody who has an animal thinks their house smells bad. But anyone who enters the house will smell it immediately. The house would have to be open for 2 or 3 days for the smell to disappear and that's very expensive.
Any violation of this rule will incur an extra cleaning fee.
Parties
For us, the safety and well-being of hosts, guests and the community in general are a priority, so parties and events of any kind are forbidden in the apartment.
Airbnb and Booking take this issue so seriously that in the event of a complaint, the booking is canceled and the guest is not entitled to any compensation.
Garbage and recycling
Please dispose of your garbage in the bin on the day you leave the property. We appreciate your help in separating recyclable materials. The location of the garbage cans can be found in the House Manual.
This small step makes a big difference to the environment and will help us avoid a fine.
Before you leave, wash and put away the dishes and kitchen utensils you have used.

Accidents happen. If you damage something, let us know as soon as possible so that we can take care of it.

What a great location! Easy walking distance to so many attractions. The unit was clean and well stocked. It would have been nice if the bathroom door closed all the way and there was a place in the bathroom to hang a towel, but it certainly didn't ruin our trip. We had a little difficulty checking in, but Adalaide did the best she could to help us and eventually we got in. I would highly suggest completing the check-in steps required to get the code to the apartment before you arrive at the apartment. Just to avoid the stress. Overall, we had a great stay!

Just loved this area of Lisbon. The little restaurants buried around every corner made for wonderful evenings out. I also loved the walking around the hills and the views of the sea.

3 seniors had a great visit! We checked our luggage and did a TukTuk tour until it was time for check in. we retrieved our luggage and got in to the apartment with no problem Had a great stay!

Apartment is well located in Alfama district. The beds were comfortable and generally the unit was well provisioned. However communication with the host was challenging. She was non responsive and unaccommodating at best. Check in requires the host’s intervention, but it was difficult to organize. There could have been more supplies. 4 small rolls of toilet paper for 4 people for a week is insufficient. Only one tea towel. No dishcloth.
