With a balcony over-looking the streets picturesque streets of downtown Lisbon, my home is a perfect place to make yourself comfortable during your stay in the city.
Comprised of a main living area with a small dining table for 4, a sofa and a television. The kitchen is in one of the adjacent rooms, and is fully-equipped with all the essentials needed to cook and enjoy a full meal, including a toaster and microwave oven. You'll also find a washing machine if you wish to refreshen your clothes (hangers are also provided as well).
There are 2 bedrooms: one master bedroom with a queen-sized bed, and a secondary room with two single beds. For an additional two guests, the sofa bed in the living area can be converted into a couch bed. Hotel quality linens and bed sheets are provided for a comfortable rest.
There's one bedroom in the apartment that comes with a shower and tub. Fresh towels and toiletries are provided at no extra cost.
My home will be cleaned before your arrival.

Chiado is a neighbourhood in the historic center of Lisbon, the capital of Portugal. Chiado is an important cultural and commercial district, known for its luxury shopping, historic landmarks, and its numerous theatres and museums. In 1988, the Chiado area was severely affected by a fire.
The nearest stations are Baixa-Chiado for the metro lines, and Rua Conceição for the tram.
This property is a self-check-in property, and you will be requested to verify your identity before checking into the property. Check-in can be done from 3 PM, pending availability and confirmation.
Once a reservation is confirmed, guests are requested to complete a guest registration form following the legal obligations stipulated by local authorities in Portugal.
There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 smoking fee at minimum.
Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 80€.
For the first days, we provide the basic amenities: samples of shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dishwashing products and bin bag.
Extra keys: 20€ (extra pair of keys when available, lost keys or service to open the door during your stay).
Extra cleaning with linen: the price of a cleaning fee.
Extra Clothing: 30€ (Towels and sheets for 2pax, i.e. when the sofa bed is not included).
Important Note: Some restoration works are underway in a building next door. We apologize for this inconvenience.

Pros : cosy appartment, all the equipment needed, very central location, confortable beds, excellent for a touristic stay.
Cons : the ventilation system of the other building makes a continuous noise in the double bed room (as if an air condition was on in the room). It’s not a big deal, but it can get in the way of some people.

The appartment is very cosy, comfortable and well-heated. Its location is perfect, in an area full of restaurants and shops and with public means of transport at a short walking distance. It is definitely a place to be recommended. Having said this, there a several things that could be improved. We got the key delivered at the appartament by paying a 10 euro fee. We only got to know that we had to pay for this service once the flat had been booked; the fee was not stated in the ad. It could also be a plus if an early check-in (before 3 pm) and a late check-out (before 11 pm) were available. The appartment also has a kind of little balcony but it overlooks the back part of the appartnent blocks where you get smell from kitchens and the view is not nice.

For the price, the property was just OK. It was quite warm upon arrival, so we were happy to see that we were provided with fans. One was completely inoperable, however. Communication with the property manager was a little silly...they essentially asked us to jiggle the knobs on the broken fan, as if we didn't understand on/off. The property itself was comfortable enough, but could use some updates. The shower was very difficult to use for my senior mother...it essentially works as a hand-held. Cleanliness seemed OK, but I killed several bugs in the bathroom over the course of our stay, including a roach, so the bathroom could use some sealant around cracks.Unfortunately, with so many properties in Lisbon now to choose from, we won't be returning to this one.
