Arbor Cottage LOFT is nestled in the heart of the Village of Ephraim on the shores of Eagle Harbor. The "LOFT" is upstairs/attic of the original/historic cottage (circa 1853) and has been lovingly remodeled into a charming Scandi-inspired LOFT w/ its own private entrance. The LOFT has west-facing views to savor unforgettable sunsets, island & bluff vistas. Enjoy 100' of private lakefront area to swim, kayak, or just relax with a glass of wine and watch a fabulous sunset over Eagle Harbor!
Walk to all that is quintessential Door County: Wilson's Ice Cream Parlor, Anderson Dock, galleries, shops, and restaurants.

The owners have successfully rented "Arbor Cottage" VRBO for past 10 years. They have recently moved downstairs into the original cottage (winter 2025) and are now renting their private LOFT (remodeled for 2025 season). They live downstairs (w/ separate entrance) and are available for any assistance and local information for guests of the LOFT.
*Please note: the Russell's also purchased another cottage, "Lille Cottage" ~ fully renovated (retro style) and opened June 15, 2017 (vrbo 1060002). Lille Cottage is also available for rental and located on the border of Fish Creek and Ephraim (across from Hwy "A" entrance of Peninsula State Park).

Early check in at 2 was the first perk! Thanks Amy & Brad! The view from this loft apartment is phenomenal! The place is tiny, but mighty - with everything needed for a get away. Clean & bright, decorated with cheery colors & whimsy. Comfy bed & couch. Big enough Smart TV for those who care. There's a sweet library in walking distance. We were staying during late fall so many businesses nearby were closed. Out of those that were open I would highly recommend the Sunset Harbor Grill right next door. Locals were there & sad to see it close "for winter" (10/26). Great steak and ribs! Our hosts had many publications, pamphlets and maps available about Door County and made sure we knew to go to Peninsula State Park. (Open 6 am - 11 pm) We went hiking there, saw gorgeous fall colors from Eagle Tower & ate at the public golf course clubhouse. (Right across the bay from The Loft.) We went back to see the stars around 10 too. The same day pass worked for entry up north at Gill's Rock Park. So many of the towns were within 15-30 minutes of each other. It was busy, but we have heard summer traffic is crazy. We enjoyed being part of a crowd and happy we weren't part of the masses. Coming back to our "home" was a delight because it was centrally located - and had the view shown here - four chairs facing a sunset over water. Even in hats, gloves, & down coats we were cozy and super thrilled to be sitting there. We watched sooooooooo many people park their cars and snap photos of this view!

We had a wonderful time in Door County and enjoyed the delightful Scandi-inspired loft. The loft is decorated in a way that provides such a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. There are so many thoughtful amenities. The hosts are friendly and helpful, too! We loved it here, and plan to return again soon.

We stayed at the Loft for our anniversary weekend and it was perfect. The location and views gave perfect Door County vibes. Relaxing in the Adirondack chairs to watch the sunset was a great way to spend an evening before dinner. The loft was clean, inviting, and very comfortable. It is worth a return visit.
