We loved our few days in the Faverges/ Annecy areas. The apartment is in a beautiful little hamlet of Faverges which is so quaint itself. We loved the weekly market and wandered the town soaking up the sun and mountain views. Away from the bustle of Annecy but an easy drive in. Would definitely recommend and stay again . Hosts very accomodating and the apartment well equipped with all we needed.

We rented the apartment with 3 couples and a 4-months old baby and we had a great time! The place was super clean, modern and well-equipped, exactly as advertised, and the owner and his daughter were very friendly. They also provided a baby bed for us. You should know that one of the rooms (the one with the two separate beds in it) isn´t closed and people who want to go to the second bathroom have to pass it. It wasn´t a real problem for us but it might be for others. Most of the (roof) windows can only be closed electronically via a little remote control. I first found that annoying but you get used to it and it´s actually pretty practical that you can keep the windows open without worry because they will close automatically as soon it starts raining. However, make sure that you understand how it works when you arrive. It also took us a while to understand that the bathroom doors upstairs can be locked electronically with a switch next to the door. One time we managed somehow to lock ourselves out. This was solved by switching off the electricity for a second. The place has a spacious garden including furniture, a sunshade and a grill. It´s shared with one more party but we never met them during our stay and the garden is big enough to provide privacy. The location is not perfect but not bad either. First of all, you need a car because it´s in a tiny peaceful village without any infrastructure. Personally, I prefer that over e.g. the busy and touristy city of Annecy. With a car it´s not a big deal because you can get to the next village (Doussard) in a few minutes where you can find a supermarket, pharmacy etc. Nice places to swim in Lac ´d Annecy are also only a few minutes of driving away and it was a great starting point for numerous marvelous hikes in the area. In short, we enjoyed our holidays very much and would come back. One should also keep in mind that the price is very reasonable.
