★ Spacious, spotless, and so easy to settle into, felt like home.
Uptown New Orleans holds a particular kind of magic - wrought iron, oak-canopied streets, the faint sound of a brass band drifting from a nearby corner. This Creole-style home sits right in the middle of it, four blocks from Magazine Street, offering a grounded, characterful base that feels genuinely lived-in rather than staged. History shows in the bones of the place; comfort shows in everything else.
Living space
Natural light moves through the home throughout the day, landing on original architectural details and thoughtfully curated décor. The living area is generous and relaxed - somewhere to decompress after a long day on the streetcar or a late night in the Quarter. Central air conditioning, ceiling fans, and central heating keep things comfortable regardless of the season, and the Smart TV and Ethernet connection are there when you want them.
Sleeping arrangements
Three bedrooms sleep up to six guests, each dressed with soft bed linens and room-darkening shades so you can sleep in after a late night out. A safe and ample clothing storage - including a walk-in closet, closet, and dresser - keep things organized across a longer stay.
Kitchen & dining
The chef's kitchen is the real draw for those who like to cook. It comes fully stocked with an electric stove, oven, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, and microwave, alongside cooking basics, dishes and silverware, a toaster, and a baking sheet. Complimentary coffee is provided, and the drip coffee maker will have you sorted from the first morning. Pull up a chair at the dining table for meals inside, or take things outside to the patio for something more relaxed.
Bathrooms
Two full bathrooms serve the home. One features a classic clawfoot tub - the kind of thing you make time for rather than rush through - and an updated walk-in shower. Both are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shower gel, and a hair dryer, so you can pack light.
Outdoor living
The fully fenced private backyard is one of the home's quiet highlights. It's a proper outdoor space - private, secure, and furnished with outdoor furniture that makes it easy to linger over a morning coffee or wind down with a drink in the evening. Free street parking is available outside, and the single-level layout means easy movement throughout.
Family & extras
Traveling with little ones? A Pack 'n Play (sheets provided) and a folding high chair are available upon request, and babysitter recommendations are on hand if you need a night out. In-unit washer and dryer, a dedicated workspace, iron, hangers, and a private entrance round out the practical side of things. Safety features include smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, a fire extinguisher, a first aid kit, and exterior security cameras. Long-term stays are welcome.
Neighborhood
Magazine Street is a four-block walk - cafés, boutiques, bars, and casual restaurants lined up along one of Uptown's best strips.
