The chalet is ideally located:

- 300 m from the altitude restaurant 'Le Forperêt' with very famous Savoyard cuisine

The chalet, on these 3 floors, has been restored and offers all the comforts: living room with fireplace and large picture window to enjoy the breathtaking view, cozy bedrooms, large kitchen suitable for 15 people, ski room, relaxation room with flat screen TV, DVDs, board games, large garden for tobogganing ...

Less than 5 minutes by car, the Montalbert resort (one of the 9 villages of La Plagne), family and dynamic, offers all mountain activities (snow park, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, ...) for relaxation (massage , restaurants, bars ...) and shops (restaurants, shops, equipment rental companies, supermarket ...).

The Chalet is just below a lift into Montalbert. It is wonderfully appointed; the ground floor has a double bedroom with an ensuite and a bunk room with a huge luxury shower room. The first floor has an open plan kitchen, lounge with a large table, balcony and the best alpine views. We loved sharing meals and chores here. Just below the chalet is a 200m walk to the Notre Dame De Neige, a wonderful small chapel that has been lovingly restored. I do hope that we will be able to go back, this chalet had a wonderful feel and was in a perfect slightly out of town position.

Comfortable chalet, relatively spacious by French standards. Only point for improvement, no boot dryer ..., but thanks to the underfloor heating in the locker, the skiboots dried quite well. Overall, this chalet is highly recommended.

This is the most wonderful chalet, perfectly located, beautiful to look at and to stay in, with the most stunning views of the French Alps. We have never stayed anywhere with such a breathtaking vista! From the top floor you could see Mont Blanc standing out in its snow covered glory! We never got used to gazing on the glory of what the Creator has made, whether sitting on the terrace or in the lounge through the two huge picture windows . Despite the altitude, the weather during our stay was beautifully hot and we spent a lot of time outside (the English can create a cricket pitch anywhere!) There were lovely walks in every direction and plenty to do if you wanted to go further afield. The chalet was well equipped and a joy to stay in. We would unreservedly recommend Les Melezes!

Beautiful spacious well equipped chalet A couple of remarks though : There is WIFI but the Internet is extremely slow When you come from far away ( we came from the US ) and when you rent sheets, you expect to also have bath towels. This was the case in all our former rentals. And I was sort of shocked to hear when I called the owner about that to hear ‘We are not a hotel’… Yes it was written that there were no ‘torchons et serviettes’ but in French, ‘torchons et serviettes’ mean kitchen towels and not ‘serviettes de toilette’… Another unpleasant thing was that grass was not cut around the chalet when we arrived. There was tall grass everywhere, and access was not easy. Thanks to the kindness of the woman managing the chalet on site, a neighbor came to the rescue but the job was not professional and everything was cleaned 3 days before we left… I may have 3 recommendations: A handrail would be useful in the stairway A larger refrigerator could be useful given the size of the chalet The chalet is beautifully and tastefully decorated but the large corner sofa is worn out and needs a facelift. All of this is not insignificant details especially when the weather doesn’t cooperate and you spend more time inside the chalet…

The Chalet is great. Everything was perfectly clean and well prepared. The kitchen is well equipped and bath rooms are very modern. The ski slopes are in 200m walking distance and coming from the ski slopes skiing is possible just right to the chalet. We had some trouble to reach our contact person when we had some questions. So in total its a perfect place to stay.
