About this house rental
This place has everything you could want—come on vacation and relax in a wonderfully peaceful setting, just a 10-minute walk from the town center and the harbor. This beautiful canal-side cottage features a sauna and a fireplace and can accommodate up to 6 people and a toddler.
From the terrace, you’ll enjoy an unobstructed view across the meadows and fields all the way to the dike.
On the first floor is the spacious living/dining room (94-inch LCD TV, DVD player, and stereo system with USB and SD ports) with an integrated kitchen featuring a cozy counter. Includes a ceramic-glass cooktop, dishwasher, oven, toaster, fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee maker, coffee pod machine (Senseo), electric kettle, and blender.
All windows can be darkened with pleated blinds; the bedrooms also feature exterior shutters.
The wood-burning stove (new as of late 2025) and the sauna invite you to enjoy cozy evenings and peaceful moments.
The house has 3 bedrooms (one bedroom is equipped with an LCD TV —outlets are available in all bedrooms); one of the bedrooms is located on the first floor (double bed, 2 x 2 m, with adjustable slatted frames), and the other two bedrooms are on the upper floor. All bedrooms have exterior blinds. One bedroom there is furnished with a double bed (2 x 2 m), the other with 2 single beds (2 x 0.90 m). The baby crib can be set up in the upstairs bedrooms. The shower room is wheelchair-accessible and equipped with a wall-mounted grab bar.
The first floor features comfortable radiant floor heating. The upper floor is carpeted.
A high chair and a baby bed are available free of charge.
Dogs are allowed upon request and for a fee.

During the Easter and fall breaks, this property is rented for a minimum of five nights with no fixed changeover day.
The vacation home is located in Greetsiel, a picturesque coastal town on the East Frisian North Sea coast. Set in a quiet and idyllic setting, the historic town center—with its romantic harbor, famous twin windmills, and cozy cafés and restaurants—is just a few minutes’ walk away. The dyke landscape around Greetsiel offers numerous biking and hiking trails with magnificent views of the Wadden Sea. Thanks to its proximity to the North Sea and the East Frisian Islands, the vacation home is the ideal starting point for relaxation and varied excursions.
