About this house rental
Nestled between the Boutonne and Charente valleys, in Charente-Maritime, Les Vals de Saintonge invite you to enjoy the sweetness of life in Charente. You will find a range of activities to disconnect for a weekend, a week or more. Benefiting from unspoilt nature, the destination is ideal for getaways on foot or by bike, by boat or canoe-kayak. It is also the cradle of Romanesque art, it is home to two wonders listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites as part of the Routes of Santiago de Compostela for lovers of culture and heritage. Similarly, the most gourmets will crisscross the vineyard to discover the secrets of the production of the most famous of spirits: cognac.
Our pleasant Charente house offers you a wild garden where flowers, fruit trees and herbs intermingle, extending over an enclosed hectare for the pleasure of your senses.
Spacious and comfortable, which can accommodate up to 10 people, it consists of a living area with a living room with books and board games, as well as a dining area. A fully equipped kitchen for complete autonomy and a veranda overlooking the garden.
Family Suite:
Overlooking the courtyard, with private terrace, family room of 25 m² equipped with a double bed and two single beds, with a four-door storage cupboard and two drawers. An en-suite bathroom includes a single sink, a walk-in shower and a toilet.
Upstairs:
• Three double bedrooms including a double bed and storage.
• A shared bathroom, equipped with a shower cubicle, a double sink and a toilet.
On site:
At the Cachet leisure centre, located just opposite the Charentes guest house, you will find three marked hiking trails ranging from 1 hour to 3 hours 30 minutes and a TérraVentura treasure hunt course!
On this same leisure basis, for the pleasure of young and old, free activities are offered and the equipment is provided by the house:
an 18-hole mini-golf course
a tennis court
a ping-pong table
a bowling alley
and children's games.
For angling enthusiasts, the Cachet pond is open from April to September, on Sundays and Wednesdays. Possibility to take your fishing card on site for the day...
At home, you will find documentation on the must-see places in the region as well as some leisure facilities.
