About this house rental

Hodnett Cooper is proud to offer this lovely 3 bedroom, 2 bath home, just a short walk to the Village.

This home was originally built in 1938 and has the true feel of a classic beach cottage with many intact original features. However, no expense was spared when it was completely re-modeled in late 2022 to include updated kitchen and bathrooms, refinished original flooring throughout, new windows and landscaping. Not to mention all new furnishings which compliment the era it was built in. The front of the home faces one of St. Simons most beautiful natural park spaces called Mallery Park which is famous for an abundance of giant moss draped oak trees. The back has a patio area overlooking a large landscaped lawn. You can park the car and stroll down to one of the may restaurants for breakfast, lunch or dinner. A variety of options are available from casual to a bit more upscale. The Village is also one of St. Simons prime shopping areas with a an abundance of options to choose from.

This home features a great open floor plan perfect for entertaining with a spacious kitchen open to the dining area. Very cute! No detail left untouched here.

This house had everything we needed as a family of three! Perfect size and perfect location! We will definitely try and stay here again our next visit. Loved having the carport l, loved being able to walk to breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and we loved being in the shade of the Spanish moss colored trees. The bedrooms were the perfect size, as was the kitchen, living room, and dining room.We had a toddler with us and we had an inflatable toddler bed that worked perfectly in one of the bedrooms on the floor.Having the no TVs in the bedrooms led for a relaxing vacation. We loved having the credit for the beach supplies, too. We ventured out to the beach twice and it was so close. This made our inaugural Saint Simons annual trip a winner!

We had a great week at this well appointed cottage. Great location, good kitchen and linens, quiet street near beautiful park. 2 bath and 3 bedrooms were great space for our family of 4!

We knew the area well, and this was the perfect place to stay as it was near our family. Great for walking to the village pier area, and the beaches are within a half mile car or bike ride. Tasteful updates, gorgeous back yard. We’ll consider again. Great experience!
