This beautiful, pet friendly, 2 bedroom plus 2 Bonus Sleeping areas 3 and half bath log cabin is just waiting for you. Its charmingly decorated and has comfortable furnishings, TV with Roku only, DVD player, pool table, beautiful views and much more.
Just minutes to local attractions including Cataloochee Ski slopes, shops, golf, dining with great year round access and plenty of parking. Beautiful views surround you from the long range mountains and pastures. This home is furnished with one king, one queen, three full beds, one twin, one sleeper sofa, one futon and 3.5 baths. Open year round.
Come on in and kick back in the great room with inviting and comfortable seating by the beautiful stone gas fireplace where you can keep warm on nippy mountain evenings. Here you can watch a movie on the flat screen TV with VCR and DVD player or just hang out with your family and friends.
This well equipped kitchen has all the conveniences of home to make everybody’s time in the kitchen a breeze. A refrigerator with ice in the door, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster and more makes cooking and clean up simple.
The master bedroom located on the main floor has an inviting king size bed for a peaceful night of rest. The master has a private bath.

The master is located on the main level and has a king size bed and has a full bath with tub. Also a ½ bath with full size washer/dryer is located on main level.
The upper level features the loft area with game table. A bedroom with a queen size bed and a second room with a twin over full bunk bed. There is a full bath with tub/shower on this level as well.
The lower level features a game room with pool table and a room with 2 full size beds and a full size futon. There is a full bath with tub/shower on this level as well. Access to the garage.

Overall it was a great location and slept everyone comfortably. Does need some updating to the inside and sone things need to be fixed on the exterior, but we did enjoy our stay very much!! Melissa (property manager) was great with communication and super sweet!!

We are very happy with Premier Vacation Rentals and their service. Melissa is a pleasure to deal with, very accommodating and competent. We have used Premier Vacation Rentals numerous times in the past and will continue to use them in the future. However, here is a list of Pros and Cons regarding our rental of Salty Dogs Hideaway:PROS- The house was very clean when we arrived.- The house was well stocked with everything that we needed.- The house has a terrific view of the mountains and there were cows and elk which were visible from the porch, and we saw them on a daily basis.- The house is in a beautiful little housing development which is very close to all the stores and restaurants. It has easy access, with no steep roads to deal with.- The house was fairly large and had ample room for many more house guests. CONS- The house was fairly dark in the evening. The main chandelier in the living room had 8 bulbs in it, but only 3 were actually operational, 5 were burned out. There were extra bulbs in a drawer in the kitchen but there was no ladder available. Due to its height, I was unable to replace the bulbs myself without a ladder. There was only 1 "working" lamp in the upstairs and main living area of the house. The kitchen was somewhat dark, as were the bedrooms.- All the beds had foam mattresses which were fairly uncomfortable.- The porch is in a state of disrepair and needs to be resurfaced (raised nails etc.), especially the portion which is not covered by the roof overhang. The 5-step staircase getting to the porch from the driveway also needs to be reinforced and/or rebuilt. There was only one outside porch light that was operational. This was outside the entrance door. The remaining outside porch lights on the north side were not working, even though I replaced the bulbs. As a result, I always had to use a flashlight to see at night, when getting to, and stepping down/up the porch stairs.

We had a great time. Cabin was clean but needed some updates. HVAC did not work it had window air conditioning in all bedrooms and living room. So you heard ac running all night trying to sleep. If HVAC was fixed I would definitely stay here again.
