Overall the cabin was perfect for a mountain getaway. I read reviews and double checked the amenities and nowhere did I see where it said no AC. Now the nights were cool, but I had guests that had breathing and heart issues so it would have been good to know ahead of time.

This was a very basic cabin. Plenty of blankets,towels, and bedding. kitchen had plenty of cookware but nothing to store leftovers. Heating worked well in most rooms. We did find and pull out electic heaters for downstairs. We were unsure if we could use the fireplace there were no instructions provided so we didnt. The cabin was not very clean upona arrival, as in other reviews, it could use a good deep clean, but it just went along with its rustic charm. The rooms were as described. Plenty of space. Twin beds were not comfortable but the other beds were fine. There is cable TV but no other entertainment in the house- board games, cards, etc, so be prepared. Also you have to check in and out in town, we did not know this either, not a big deal just something we've never had to do with a VRBO before. Overall we would stay here again. It fit our family wonderfully and it was decent price.

The inside of the house was beautiful and the location was great! The house heated very well once we figured out how to use the heaters. Kitchen had all the appliances to cook for Thanksgiving. The beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms were warm. We did see some minor things that needed to be taken care of. The whole house needs to be swept good and mopped. Also, the house could use a good dusting. The couches needs to be cleaned out as well, they had a pile of dust in them. Besides that, the view was beautiful and we would definitely rent the cabin again!

Cabin was well planned into the woods. It was dusty inside, it would be nice if it well vacuumed the furniture and beds. Lot of antiques and nicely planned for small groups. Good to go with two families.
