About this house rental
Welcome to the Dr. Pepper House, one of Waco's most beautiful and historic homes. Built in 1885 by Wade Morrison, the original founder of Dr. Pepper, the home has since been renovated in the early 2000's by Christian rock singer, David Crowder. We are located less than a mile from the Magnolia Silos, Downtown, and many other Waco attractions. Perfect for families, you will love all that this charming home has to offer!

The space
You will have access to a beautifully restored, ~6,000 sq ft home and a sprawling backyard with pool, hot tub, and cabana. The game room above the garage is also available to guests, offering pool and ping pong!
Other things to note
Not handicap accessible, all entrances require at least a few stairs.
I live in the back barn and while I generally stay off property during your visit, I will come and go in the morning and at night and will be available to answer any questions you have during your stay!

Every aspect of our July 4th stay was exceptional!!! I will start with the basics. Pre-visit/check in was easy and intuitive. Space for 4 vehicles inside the gated area with plenty of street parking that felt safe. The house cooled quickly and was VERY comfortable throughout our stay. There was plenty of room for the 12 of us. Each sleeping area was unique and can accommodate a mixed group. The king bedroom was especially luxurious with its own master bath. The 3rd floor (loft) has ample room for 4 with a shared bathroom. The other 2 queen bedrooms each have a nice bath as well. The bedroom with 2 twins is tied to the laundry room. There is a TV room upstairs with a smart TV.
The main floor has a large kitchen that overlooks the giant backyard. Plenty of eating areas, kitchen and adjacent dining area and 2 large sitting areas. Again, plenty of room for everyone to relax.
The Gameroom above the detached garage is huge! Nice pool and ping pong tables, plenty of room to enjoy both, AC was comfortable with a nice TV. A lot of fun nights spent here for us 12!
Now, to the best part of the property. The backyard is huge! There is an open green space, large, covered area that includes a TV, Sonos sound system, plenty of seating, sink, grill. Oh, and the pool! This is the largest pool I have seen on a property. Plenty of room for fun for the entire family. We never felt crowded. This property is by far the best property I have visited. Thanks to our host for everything!!!
