About this house rental
If you're craving beautiful country views, spectacular oak trees and cool dips in the pool - this one's for you! This incredible 5,000 sq ft home is what country dreams are made of. Space for the whole family, all your friends & then some! Soak up breathtaking scenery & renew your soul; guaranteed to take up permanent residence in your mind- providing incredible memories, laughs & love. A short and easy 17 minute drive to downtown- this is a stay for the record books.
The space
Originally built in 1976 on 87 acres, this home is bursting with incredible history. One of Waco, Texas' own country music stars spent a lot of time in this home in his youth- his name is carved into the cement of the carport. It was later purchased by a couple who built the horse barn & had up to 80 Egyptian Arabian horses at one time. In '97, the publisher of the Waco Tribune Herald purchased the home & enjoyed the property for 14 years before the current owners bought the land, house & guesthouse.
The house is a sprawling 5,000 sq ft of pure delight. A large & spacious kitchen with a wonderful view of the pool outside. 2 dining areas with two tables & space for 12 seats total. An inviting living area with a large tv & plenty of seating options/reading nooks. An adjoining game area with pool table, couch & 65" smart tv. The den leads out to a massive 500 year old oak tree that is so majestic you'll find yourself staring at its large reaching branches in pure amazement & wonder (it really is spectacular).
With 11 beds & a fold out futon in the main house, there is plenty of space for all your favorites. The main house also features 4 full bathrooms, keeping the fights for showers at bay (hooray!)
There is a guesthouse located a short walk from the main house that is rented out long term. Any long term guest staying at the guesthouse has their own parking & will not interfere with your stay.

An additional nightly and cleaning fee will be incurred if guests would like to utilize the guesthouse when it is available. Please let us know beforehand if you plan on using the guesthouse so arrangements can be made. The guesthouse provides 1 king bedroom & full bathroom as well as a full kitchen & living space.
Guest access
Guests will have access to the entirety of the home minus a locked closet.
Guests will be asked to admire the century old barn & horse stables from the outside.
Guests will be instructed to stay off of the oak trees.
Guests will respect the animals space by staying out of the surrounding pastures.
Other things to note
Absolutely no pets allowed. If we see or find evidence of a pet at the property after your departure, a minimum $500 cleaning fee will be charged to your stay. The reason we have this rule in place is that some people are allergic to pet dander. Our guest health are a top priority. This rule will be strictly enforced.
Living room, den, master bedroom & guesthouse have smart TVs with streaming apps available. No cable.
We provide both a regular coffee machine, as well as a Keurig and pods.
Oak tree Manor house provides 5 bedrooms total and breaks down as such:
MAIN FLOOR- 1 king bedroom (bathroom attached), 1 queen bedroom & 1 king bedroom with additional fold out futon.
UPPER FLOOR- 1 large bedroom with 5 twin beds (attached bathroom) & 1 additional bedroom with 2 twin beds & 1 full size bed with attached bathroom.
Propane grill, limited propane provided.
Pool measures 24' x 36'. The depths of the pool are 3'-9'. Pool towels are provided. This is not a heated pool.
We have two washers and two dryers.
Master bed has an adjustable bed frame.
Must be 21 or older to book.
