Pet Policy: Town & Island Co. welcomes pets. There is a $125 non refundable pet fee. 2 pets maximum. You are responsible to inform us you are traveling with your pet(s).
Severe Weather Policy: If a Mandatory Evacuation Order is issued by the Governor of SC, your stay will be refunded. However, if a Mandatory Evacuation Order is NOT issued by the Governor of SC, then the standard cancellation policy will still apply and no refund will be issued.

The place was perfect for 6 of us gals. The only issues we had is that we requested an early check in and was denied that because cleaning probably wouldn’t have been finished, which we understood. It was convenient that there was a storage locker for luggage on site so we did use that and went and did some walking around town. After rushing to get to our place by 4 pm to check in we noticed the place was still being cleaned. We sat in the courtyard in the whipping wind and sprinkling rain waiting to get in. We didn’t get into our place for at least another 40 minutes so that was disappointing. The place was pretty clean however we found popped balloon pieces and tape leftover from what must have been stuff previous guests put up (even though it said not to do that). All in all the hosts were good in responding immediately but it was disappointing that we had to pay the price for the way the previous guests left the place. We felt we lost time n the first day by getting in late and still picking up after previous guests.

Kitchen was well equipped, space was immaculate. Close to king street to walk to shopping and eating. Sugar bakery is next door, Holey bagel/coffee shop close by. Host was responsive and clear. I would definitely book this place again.

Loved the location. One of the rooms wasn't set up the way I had requested and one of the rooms (the last one at the very top) wasn't the quality of the others. There wasn't a real closet and the bathroom had a curtain so that was disappointing when compared to the others, but overall, the place was perfect! Having the ice machine was fantastic too.

Seemed like more of a party house than a family house. The living furniture was terrible! Outdoor sofas. No throw blankets, different cushions that didn't match. Everything felt cold and not inviting. Cement floors with one small round sisal outdoor rug. Living furniture needs to be updated! Pictures of outside and interior are deceiving.
