A great vacation at a very quiet place, super-friendly owners, patient with our noisy family (3 little kids). Our boys loved helping at the cowshed, riding on the tractor, and were fascinated by the chickens :-) We took some lovely walks and explored the nearby woods. The trip to Wald Wipfel Weg was great fun, as was driving around the Bavarian forest and getting out of the car every now and then to explore the little towns. A bit of skiing, but there was not a lot of snow this winter. I definitely recommend this place, especially to families with small kids who like a bit of adventure and/or want to get away from it all.
