PS Alexander Deluxe is a great destination for your Palm Springs holiday. Built by the famed Alexander Construction company, the home sits on a quiet cul-de-sac in the center of the mid-century haven of Racquet Club Estates and offers the classic Mad Men style with modern comforts and amenities like fast internet.
PS Alexander Deluxe home is spacious, open and bright, showcasing modern furnishings and well-planned lighting throughout. Walls of glass and sliding doors feature the seamless indoor/outdoor living Palm Springs has long been envied for. Modern polished porcelain tile floors brighten all the common areas; carpeted bedroom floors keep everyone comfortable.
The modern kitchen features a Caesarstone island with bar seating to enjoy casual conversation, the views, or a cocktail. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances and utensils you would expect to find at home. The open floor plan allows the kitchen, dining area, and living room to flow directly into the convenient outdoor dining area just beyond the dining area sliders.
The master bedroom is spacious and features a king bed and a sliding glass door that opens directly to the pool and backyard. The modern en-suite bath with custom sink and walk in shower completes the master suite. The two guest bedrooms feature king and queen beds and private courtyard views. The bedrooms share a modern hall bath with walk-in shower. All bedrooms have smart TVs.
This ideal backyard features insta-worthy views of the San Jacinto Mountains. Fully hedged for privacy, you’ll delight in plentiful lounging and sitting areas, a BBQ grill, sparkling 15’ by 30’ saltwater pool with built-in 7' x 7' spa and grand fire pit! This beautiful vacation rental is a short drive to downtown Palm Springs, with its many bars, shops, restaurants, and art galleries. Other Palm Springs attractions are similarly a short drive away, from area casinos and gambling, to world renowned spa resorts, tennis, golfing, and the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway.
Racquet Club Estates is a premier neighborhood of Palm Springs. The neighborhood is rich with architecture and history. It should be noted the city has sound ordinances that are strictly enforced. The owner(s) like to stress this home is ideal for a dream vacation and relaxation but is by no means a “party-central” home. Each guest is expected to be as good a neighbor as the owner(s) themselves. Special events like weddings are NOT allowed.
- Per City ordinance, no music is allowed outside the (fully enclosed) home, at any time of day.
- Per City ordinance, we are required to have your ID on file. After booking, we will request an picture of the front of your ID.
- Per City ordinance, you must be 25 years of age or older to rent this home.
- Pool Heat is optional but available for $59/day; usually appropriate to heat the pool mid-October to late June. Some advertising platforms will have us add pool heat after booking. Feel free to confirm as necessary.
- Where pet(s) are accepted, this is dog(s) only and we cannot host any other kind of animals in our home.

This was our second stay at this house. It is super clean, beds are very comfortable, and it's in a quiet neighborhood. The kitchen is well-stocked for cooking, plenty of towels for bath and pool. Craig and the team are very responsive to any questions. The backyard is an absolute dream. We will stay again.

It was a wonderful stay-house was well furnished, kitchen had everything we needed. Pool and hot tub were beautiful-had a fantastic time. We do have 2 suggestions for you-the washing machine gives off a very fowl smell-seals around door and drum should probably be cleaned out, and then the garage door opener at the back of the garage-don’t know what you can do about it-but it’s so low, it’s dangerous. We almost clobbered our heads a couple times. But other than that, it was wonderful!

Amazing back yard and pool area. The property was clean and well presented. For people on a longer stay or who like to just relax and enjoy the yard and are predominately eating there, there is basically no cupboard space available to put any groceries and limited space for meal preparation. The barbeque was adequate once you got it lit but is old and falling apart and in need of replacing. Other than the master, the other two bedrooms have no dressers and for a longer stay you will basically be living out of your suitcase which may not appeal to everyone. The place is on the direct flight path for planes departing and while it is not a major issue during the day, the one departure every morning at 5:30 was a bit much. Another issue we faced was that there is no entrance from the garage to the house and to unload any groceries or purchases necessitated someone to go in the front door and go through and open a patio door so you could access the garage. Inconvenient but may not be an issue for some people. Overall, I would rate the property a 3 out of 5, mainly for the back yard and pool area.
